So today is the letter L, which will be for the film by the name The Lake House, this is one of those romance films, and I just adore Sandra Bullock, I watch just about everything she stars in. This is a really sweet film, and personally it just makes your mind wander. Can this really happen? What if it did? I think lots of people think those type of things. This film is a 2006 remake of the South Korean film by the name Il Mare, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock star as Alex Wyler and Kate Forster.
What’s this film about?
An independent-minded doctor (Sandra Bullock) who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its newest resident, a frustrated architect (Keanu Reeves). When they discover that they’re actually living two years apart, they must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it’s too late.
It takes a good romance to make me shed tears, lol and this one did that, I’m just a sucker for romance, even though I don’t watch a lot of it anymore. Unless it’s really good, and I like who is in it, anyway there you go, enjoy!
I absolutely adore this movie. It is so magical. I love the day they go on a walk around New York together to look at the architecture. I also, like you, adore Sandra bullock.

Ohmigosh, YES, YES, YES!!!!! This flick is one of my FAVORITES!!!!!!! After all that longing, loneliness, and waiting, that smooch at the very end is well-deserved! IMO, it’s one of the more romantic films out there. I think my fave scene is at Kate’s birthday party, when they met for the first time, but only Alex knows what’s up…the temptation to tell her must’ve been overwhelming! ::sighs::
