I’m posting a little later than usual, but it’s because I am still getting over this cold borderline flu, so my letter for today’s AtoZ Challenge is N, I choose the film No Country for Old Men. I remember seeing the previews about it, and well being that I am into action films, this was really something I knew I wanted to see. I was not disappointed with this film. Javier Bardem played this role so well, he was so ruthless and cold, when he killed, ok so what’s this film about you ask?
In rural Texas, welder and hunter Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) discovers the remains of several drug runners who have all killed each other in an exchange gone violently wrong. Rather than report the discovery to the police, Moss decides to simply take the two million dollars present for himself. This puts the psychopathic killer, Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), on his trail as he dispassionately murders nearly every rival, bystander and even employer in his pursuit of his quarry and the money. As Moss desperately attempts to keep one step ahead, the blood from this hunt begins to flow behind him with relentlessly growing intensity as Chigurh closes in. Meanwhile, the laconic Sherrif Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) blithely oversees the investigation even as he struggles to face the sheer enormity of the crimes he is attempting to thwart.
Wow, watching the trailer just brought back the memory when I watched it. For some unknown reason, it really stuck with me for some kind. I though this was a kick ass film, such great actors in it. If you seen it, what did you think? If you didn’t, do you think you will now? Anyway that’s it for now, have a great week!

I not only saw the film but enjoyed it immensely. I liked the Texas feel of things and the acting was fantastic. In fact, I just downloaded this film to watch with my fiance yesterday.
