I get this COVID-19 has flipped all our lives upside down. But 2020 doesn’t seem to stop with these bad surprised that keep popping up. It has to be one of the worst years in history, I could be wrong, but in my history, it is lol.
I am very disappointed in 2 companies. Probably more but I’ll just chat about 2.
Walmart – we are signed up for unlimited free delivery, and I have been taking full advantage of that. The delivery drivers have been for the most part on top of the game with the exception of 2 deliveries where they delivered to the front door instead of the side door as specified in my orders. But they are filled correctly and very happy with how they have picked out my produce.
My issue today is the web browsers and app not allowing me to get through check out. I don’t think I am the only one. I honestly had to look around the internet and see what it is going on. Apparently, some people have tried purchasing Xbox or ps5 from Walmart and their credit card information is being taken and then they are kicked out of check out. That is crazy and not very nice that their website is doing that.
That is not my issue though but I am thinking that has something to do with my issue. I am just trying to buy a few groceries, and I continuously get this error. I just tried it just now just to get a screenshot.
I continuously get this, both on the browser and my mobile app. Last week I ordered and it did that on the browser, I went to the app and it worked, but this time is not working. I am so frustrated because we paid for this service. I did try the chat session and this is what they suggested.
I did everything they said, and still, nothing worked. I went ahead called the number, and before the recording finished it went silent and it was disconnected. I tried 3 more times, recording said it would transfer me to an agent then all went silent and again it was hung up. Very frustrating indeed, ok more than frustrating, I am pissed off. Because that chat rep probably knew exactly what is going on and still made me jump through hoops that he knew would not work, thanks a lot, Mark!
Next is Big Brother Big Sister Foundation. They have always been great with picking up on scheduled time, as I scheduled a month in advance. I had emailed them 2 weeks ago wanting them to verify my pick update, and they didn’t reply. That should have been a red flag.
Today I have peeked out and the boxes are still sitting in the driveway, usually, by now they are picked up. As I mentioned in a comment I left on their Facebook page, if they aren’t going to pick up then at least be courteous to have someone call up those on a pickup list, it just sounds like something they would be nice enough to do, but they didn’t. My boxes will probably continue to sit there, we don’t have an issue taking it to our local Salvation Army, but at least let people know. I should have checked Facebook weeks ago.
So, no groceries, and boxes left in the driveway, I have to tell my husband all this now. Lol. I am not a happy camper. We opted for delivery so we keep away from people as much as possible and avoid this whole COVID-19 crap, thanks a lot China!
