My husband often tells me I worry too much. I don’t know why, it is in my nature to worry. When I first moved to Massachusetts, I thought wow, I am going to live in a state I only wished to have visited but here I am living in it. Living here means snow at some point in time. The first, oh I say 9 years were amazing. To look out the window see all the snow, was and is still breathtaking.
Then we moved to our new house, and I was, and still am very happy so is my husband. The first 2 years, here again, were amazing, and happy, and they still are. However, with that came concern of the beautiful animals I have the opportunity to see out of my windows all year round. From rabbits to a groundhog to squirrels to beautiful birds and yes even turkeys and deer. Just so much beauty that God has blessed us with.
I needed to step away, this is something that happens more often than not. Especially with my 2 girls, Daisy and Lily, they are needy and relentless lol I love them both so very much and I don’t mind spoiling them when I can. But they do take me away from what I do at my desk/table.
Speaking of furbabies, I miss seeing Lilo, he stopped coming around when the snow starting coming down more often and longer. I am not sure how old he/she is (yeah I cannot tell, if Lilo is a boy or a girl) I saw him/her spray and that is why I assume it is a boy.
He is older than Sammy, another one I am not sure if it a girl or boy but since I have seen him/her spray, I am guessing a boy. I see Sammy now and then, and sometimes I get a chance to feed him. Wow, Daisy has burped twice, do cats burp? She did LOL. Anyway, about Sammy, this morning after I showered I happen to walk into the kitchen, and noticed him coming through the snow-covered trees, and I called out to him, and I heard him meow but he didn’t cross the yard, I guess he avoids all the snow accumulation there. So he walks along the tree line, and I rush to get dressed, by the time I come back, I no longer see him it made me sad but I hope he was going to one of the houses nearby that have a small barn-like structure to stay out of the snow.
Today we are getting about 2 inches, I am thinking more than that being it started earlier than predicted. Hopefully, my husband doesn’t have issues getting home from work. He is due home in about an hour.
I have been reading my Bible, yesterday I didn’t I was distracted not only by the girls, but trying to decide what Bible cover I wanted for us, and what other things I wanted to pick up, it has consumed my mind the last few days, I am glad that is out of the way.
Speaking of Bibles, yesterday I came across a video by accident, I was looking or a review of a 2nd Bible I wanted to get to carry in my purse, and that lead me to this video here.
This lady was journaling in the Bible! I was what?? Isn’t that a bad thing to do? I felt as if she was defacing the Bible. But the more I looked into it, people are journaling in Bibles more and more. They have created Bibles just for that, with scriptures and all. I was wowed!!! So this lady’s video leads me to her group on Facebook (evil) lol. And I joined, which I was happy I was accepted even though I have never journaled in a Bible and am new to learning about God’s word.
Another member of the group had posted this picture, obviously, this isn’t the exact one from her Bible, but you can use your imagination. Just stunning.
I am not sharing from her Bible, but I did find it on Charlene Warwick’s Etsy shop, and I imagine she printed on a clear sticker type of paper because it appears as if scripture was printed over the image, I just love that. At this point, I realized that they do make Bible journals, specifically for this type of thing, like in the video I posted above this image. So, I may consider trying to journal this way with a Bible I purchased or maybe this kind of Bible journal.
I don’t want to get away from the word of God, but doing it in this way could possibly help, and be fun at the same time. I have a few planners I never used, and they don’t have a year. I think I am going to sell them to get a Bible Journal, like this one here in this video.
I am kind of excited. I don’t have it, and not sure when and if I will definitely get it, we will see. We just finished dinner, and I have not had a chance to read my Bible today, so I would like to take some time to do that before it is time to go and relax with my husband for the evening.
