Here I am with my 2nd weigh-in. I did good, it was not nearly as much as my first, but I knew it wouldn’t always be high numbers. Even this weigh-in I feel will not be a normal number. The last time I was doing this, my usual number was 2 lbs a week, and that is with no exercise, apart from the normal doing around the house, doing laundry, going downstairs to the basement, and whatnot. Unfortunately because of my weight, I cannot get on the treadmill yet. I don’t want to break it lol. Pretty much the same thing I did last time, I didn’t get a treadmill the first time until I was well below 300 lbs, and right now I am still over 300 lbs, so this is how it goes for now. Now for my weigh-in progress photo.
I noticed in my last photos the picture was way too close, so this time I decided to back up with the camera a bit. I lost 5.4 lbs, which is really great. This week ending will probably be what I will normally see from here on in, I am always hoping for a loss rather than a gain. I learned a lot from previous attempts. And honestly, I am learning now. I am back to counting calories, which makes a huge difference from just relying on going low/no carb, as low/no carb food still does have a huge amount of calories, depending on what you eat.
We still try to keep it low/no carb, for instance, I won’t eat regular bread, and we make Protein Sparing Bread, for 2 slices of this bread we make is 65 calories, and regular white bread is about 80 cal per slice, depending on the brand and bread. We also cut out as much sugar as possible.
My total calorie intake I allow myself right now is 1,660 daily. I think in the future I may drop that down some. I am adjusting to the type of foods, and the amount I can eat. And, yes indeed, I log everything into MyFitnessPal. It is a great way to keep track. I guess we will see what this weekend has in store for us.
I should have posted this earlier in the week, rather than later, I will try midweek from here on in. Sometimes I get so busy with things. I have multiple projects going on, work-related that is. That is all for this weigh-in, see you next week for the next one.
God Bless
Emily
