I am finally doing this update to catch up on my weight loss. Today is Saturday, so I thought today is a good day to catch up before another weigh-in tomorrow. I have been crazy busy, and have not had a chance to update. Although I still do my weigh-ins and I take the picture I always take them for my record. I have had ups and downs but no weight gain. As my last blog post suggested. I did reach my 6-month goal of losing 50 lbs, yay for me. Now on to the weigh-ins. We have quite a few weeks to catch up.
Weigh-in #18 – I barely lost anything, but at least it was not a gain! I lost 0.3 lbs, weight is 284.7 lbs.
Weigh-in #19 – This was another week, I barely lost anything. Yes, I was disappointed, but at the same time relieved I didn’t gain weight. I lost 0.4 lbs. My weight was 284.3 lbs.
Weigh-in #20 – I was extremely happy with this weigh-in, I think at this point I changed my daily calorie intake to 1440 calories per day. I think it is helping, at least I hope I lost 3.3 lbs, weighing in at 281.0 lbs.
Weigh-in #21 – I didn’t lose as much as the previous week, but I was still happy. I lost 1.1 lbs, weighing in at 279.9 lbs.
Weigh-in #22 – Again another low number. I was starting to get bummed out. I lost 0.3 lbs. Yes, a disappointment, but not a gain, so it is still a win. I weighed in at 279.6 lbs.
Weigh-in #23 – Again another great loss here, a loss of 4 lbs. I was so happy, to say the least. I weighed in at 275.6 lbs.
Weigh-in #24 – This was cutting it way too close At least it was a loss. I lost 0.1 lbs, weighing in at 275.5 lbs.
Weigh-in #25 – Not the best but I will take it. I lost 1.5 lbs. Weighing in at 274.0 lbs.
Weigh-in #26 – This was a better weigh-in, I lost 4.2 lbs. I was happy, after the bad weeks I had. I weighed in at 269.8 lbs.
I was going to wait until tomorrow, to add tomorrow’s weigh-in, but decided against it. I was almost losing track even though I had photos to help me stay on time. I’m glad the photos have the date and time they were taken as a file name, that helps so much. I have had a few rough weeks, but I am sticking with it. Lowering my calorie intake I think helps a lot.
I feel the weight that has come off. I can go up and down the hill in the backyard much easier, even my husband noticed, he also said he can hug me better now too LOL. And as I mentioned at the beginning. I did reach my first goal which was to lose 50 lbs in 6 months, and I did that. I am so happy and proud of myself. My next goal is to lose another 50 lbs in the next 6 months to have a total loss of 100 lbs. And even losing that I still have at least another 50 lbs to lose after. I am only 5’1 and I should not weigh what I weigh. So wish me luck.
I had a lot of sun today, I can feel it on my arms. My arms get itchy when I have had a lot of sun, my arms are pretty tan. I wear a sleeveless top and shorts every day, so when I go out to feed the feral cats and sit on the deck petting Pepper, I get sun. I tan quickly too.
I think that is it for now. I am feeling tired. We put up a new solar panel for our trail camera, as the old one just didn’t work anymore. My husband also put up solar panels on the side of the house so that it can light up at night, and then another solar panel for the camera under the deck, so I can see when the cats are under there. Before I was lucky if I saw them. But now I have all these cameras and it has worked out so great! I feel very blessed. Now I am really going lol.
