I am really happy about getting my nail collection sorted, I like finding the things I will be using at really reasonable prices. Like from ebay, they have hoards of great stuff, and really super low prices, coming from like Hong Kong, China, it's incredible, most of them are free shipping too. So you know I pick up quite a bit there. On occasion I got to Michaels or Jo-Ann's and get stuff on sale, and yes I do buy reg priced items, but hey I try to use 40% off coupons when I can. From what I have seen, it's been 40% on one item which is really great, because I find stuff on sale, so I already am getting a discount, over all I have been very happy. April Showers In June? Come On, Really?
You know I love April, and May, and I can deal with the showers that come with those months, but June and it's raining? Why? The world is going to end soon I'm telling you!! Or this year the weather is just out of wack! Maybe both lol. I had plans to go out this weekend, but they have been cancelled with the way the weather is, so I put myself to use in the house and rearranged the room, moved this out and this in, that type of deal. I'm happy with it, I still have a few things that need to find a new home. And they shall! Last night I worked on practicing the 'nail' thing, and I'm getting there, it wasn't on my own finger. I figured out a way to make that silly tip stick to the artificial finger, it was being so stubborn. If At First You Don’t Succeed … Well You Know The Rest!?
I have mentioned in the past that I am teaching myself to do nails, and even though it looks easy on video, it really isn't. First is gluing the tip on to the nail, you can leave air pockets, and then that can cause some kind of infection, so you have to be careful with that, then getting down the amount of acrylic liquid and acrylic powder turned out to be difficult for me last night. I had initially wanted and still do, to practice on these plastic fingers that you can buy, it's much better than doing it on your self, and if something goes wrong, having to soak your fingers in pure acetone to remove the nail, just to turn around and try again. Sleeplessness Can Put You In A Bad Mood
Great so since I can't really sleep, I thought I'd come on and write a post and moan about it =\ If there is one thing that really irritates me is those nights which I cannot get to sleep, you can watch so much boring TV shows!! And on top of that heartburn too, UGH!! So I'm thinking what's tomorrow going to be like? Probably ruin my whole day, of course I will try not to let that happen, as I have (as usual) so many things to do. I probably could do some now since I can't sleep.
