5 Road Trip Essentials

5 Road Trip Essentials According to Booking.com, 25% of Americans were planning to go on an “epic” road trip in 2018. If you haven’t embarked on a journey like this before and hope to do so, be sure to keep these five road trip essentials in mind before taking off. Bring Soft Bags, Not Hard Suitcases It’s much easier to squeeze in a soft, duffle bag than a hard-shell suitcase into your car. You can use several of them if you need too, and each person also may want to bring a smaller bag, like a backpack that contain their own items like snacks and books. Those can also be useful outdoor activities like hiking, biking or paddling. Driving for longer periods on a repeating basis can lead to spinal and nerve damage, read the latest nerve control 911 reviews. CBD (Cannabidiol) oil ?? derived fr?m hemp. Trump won, all said and done!

There you go, very simple. Trump won. I woke up at about 3 am to feed Lily and Daisy, they have strange hours and Lily will make sure we hear her lol. Got up, turned the TV on, and there it was. Trump won! Few minutes later, he came out to speak, I'm glad I got to see that live in real time. And yes we are Trump supporters. I don't need or want to debate about any politics with anyone, we are just happy with the results. All day today, all I see is negativity, and hate. Some threatening to move to Canada, I feel if that makes them happy, I wish them well. People were unfriending each other based on their political views, wow right? Come on, grow up! Not everyone is not going to have the same views, that is that is what makes us different and unique, but to go to that extent geez, I guess this post may prompt some to unfriend me. Ah Continue Reading

Weigh-in #23 – Doing good!

September 20, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

Yesterday, we went to William's family house in Boston for a triple birthday party, so this was a test of not eating too much and being picky about what I was going to have. Since they ordered pizza and a cold cuts tray to make sandwiches, I had to estimate. I did not add mayonnaise as it was too high in calories, but I did add mustard which was zero. About 2 slices of two different types of sandwich meats, and a slice of cheese (Swiss), and finally 2-4 tablespoons of coleslaw. I had a cup of coffee black with some sweet n’ low, and later a decaf Diet Coke. I think I did okay, breakfast was at Dunkin Donuts, so I know how many calories I had, as it is not the first time I’ve had their awesome turkey bacon breakfast croissants, so good!!! 390 calories though, and an iced coffee, slim milk, and sweet n’ low. So not bad, and for dinner, a Continue Reading

Rain, Rain, Go Away …

Rain-rain-go-away

If it isn't snow, it's rain. Ahh how I look forward to Spring, even though in reality our Spring doesn't last long, it seems to get right into Summer weather. I loved California spring season, it was truly spring. Anyway, as William said, better rain than snow. He's been living in the Boston area all his life, so he is hating on snow, and welcoming rain, weather is a lot warmer. Although in defense of snow, there have been times it seems rather warm, but then the snow melts. I enjoy a good blizzard, I know some folks hate it, especially if pipes start freezing and bursting, as it has done in some areas this past snowfall. So I'm on a cleaning war path, not because I like cleaning, I actually hate it, if I can afford to hire a maid I would have one come once a month hehe. I'm getting old, I have an excuse. And that excuse further Continue Reading

I Love Boston!

I Love Boston

I sat here for a few seconds, thinking of what to title this. I mean so much has happened in the past few days, I don't know where to start. It's just all horrible, sad, depressing, scary, so many emotions going through oneself. Just today, there has been bomb threats, two I believe, turned out to be false. Still people are on the edge of their seats. What to think, what to do. I know life must go on. Speaking of so, my hunny was due to go into Boston the day or the Marathon for a meeting, but since it was going to be the marathon, they choose to put it off another day, then Tuesday came, and there was still a lot going on in Boston, that they put it off until today. I'm happy to say he is home with me, had his meeting earlier in the day, he texted me let me know he was going into Boston, and then after he left. So I felt a lot better. I Continue Reading
