Success Is A Good Feeling

August 9, 2022 by Emily Leave a Comment

I am beyond happy today, yesterday I was able to trap Momo, even though I was so nervous, we trapped him while having dinner. As soon as we saw him trapped we ran out and covered the trap so that he would not be too scared, even though I can tell he still was and is. I was scared for him, I wanted him to be seen by a vet so much. Our local animal shelter offers a voucher for the TNR program, to get feral cats spayed or neutered, to help reduce the number of poor kittens being born, and dying out there. I am so glad I had the opportunity to help a cat. The pictures below are from yesterday August 8, 2022, he is eating in the first photo, and soon after is when the trap is triggered. He looked so scared. In the 2nd and 3rd pictures (below), he may have bit his tongue or lip or something because he was drooling a little and it looked like it Continue Reading

Here and There, and Everywhere!

here-_-there

I feel like I am all over the place. I try to do a lot in the time I have. Not only do I have my hobby websites I run, but I also have a YouTube channel, and now a few Facebook groups that I help admin. They are a lot of fun. Let me tell you. The moment it becomes a chore, I am quitting some of the stuff. As it is, I am trying to downsize my fanlistings, but haven't done so good. I think I will start getting rid of the ones that are not getting as much attention. Meaning, no one is really interested LOL. My YouTube takes up a great portion of my time, it is not only filming videos, but taking the time to edit out crap that doesn't need to be left in the video, as it can make them super long. Then during the week Sunday through Thursday I upload, unless there is another use for the internet, but I usually upload overnight, which is Continue Reading

Weigh-in #16 – Keeping On The Path

August 2, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I’m embarrassed to say that I got really behind, so I had to post-date my last weigh-in, and then post this one. There is just so much going on. And it’s not so much with my life, but with the world. Just this week, they have Ebola in Atlanta now?? What is going on, why would the government risk our lives like this? Are they so certain they have a cure? I’m worried and getting worried more each day to the point, we are prepping, and why do you ask? Because you just don’t know! We are beginners, and all that, I am not going to bore you with that stuff. Maybe I’ll start another blog, just for that. For now, let’s talk about my weigh-in. I’m happy with it, I didn’t gain, yay!! I lost 2.2 lbs, woohoo! I am right on the nail with my weight loss, according to plan, I hope, no I will lose 100 lbs at the end of my dieting year! Woohoo! I can’t Continue Reading

Simon’s Cat in ‘Scary Legs’

November 18, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I was browsing this forum I go to often, and I saw this image that one of my friends on there posted as a status, it was so funny but creepy at the same time because I imagine that happening to me. Hopefully never but you will see, I had a good laugh when I saw it and was compelled to save it and share it. Click the banner below and check out their website. I can’t really share it on Facebook as you can’t really share animated images, nor can you on Twitter, not to my knowledge, but you can on Tumblr so I may go ahead and share there too. Isn’t this the funniest ever? I think the cat was trying to distract him from seeing it crawl around. I just found it so funny! Turns out there is a website dedicated to this cat, which I gave at the top of this post. I think it’s so so silly. I think I’m going to be a regular at this site. Continue Reading

Saturday Smiles – Friendships

September 16, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I knew what I wanted to write about, but I didn’t know what image to use, so I googled friendships in the images category, looking for something. I saw this photo and thought oh how perfect. It instantly made me smile. Didn’t it make you smile too? Or am I just the mushy kind of person? Perhaps I am. I’m an animal person, not all animals, but definitely cats and dogs, they are just too cute, adorable, and loving. I just love watching a cat and dog get along, it’s a really interesting interaction to watch. We know the dog can kill the kitten but doesn’t, and just plays with it ever so gently. I think it’s awesome. I don’t have pets, I may have mentioned it or not. I mean I do have a pet, but not a dog or cat. We only have a fish, his name is Dexter. Let me show you him. He is an awesome fish, he’s Double Tailed Betta. Continue Reading
