Is Being Busy An Excuse?

April 5, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

It is for me. I have been so busy, I have not had time to read the Bible. With it being Easter yesterday I decided to spend time reading the Bible. Did I mention I have been reading the Bible? I had to go back and glance at my last post, and yes I have talked about it. The Bible I posted is one I like reading. I love it, it is a beautiful Bible. Since my last post, I have added 4 more Bibles. After researching and visiting a few Christian websites, I learned there are various translations so I became curious. One of my favorite websites is the Blue Letter Bible, I go to it on a regular basis, and they have a smartphone app as well. There is so much content on that website, that it is the only Christian website you will ever need. However, I like to look around through other Christian websites as well. As so many have a lot to offer. I Continue Reading

Has the SHTF yet?

I think it has begun. I am very unhappy and disappointed in the kind of censorship going on with Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. People, that is only the beginning. Remember when they started to censor small YouTubers, well now it is big YouTubers, including the President. WTH is going on? Seriously? Never thought I would live to see the day this kind of thing begins to happen. I am considering canceling Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, and a few others. Come on, censoring? What happened to freedom of speech? What happened to respect what others have to say, even if you don't agree. This is how it is dealt with. I don't like talking about politics, but sometimes somethings just piss me off. Yeah like this. And now they want to impeach the president again. Haha. Wow. What happened in DC was not Trump's fault, full stop! Okay, I am Continue Reading

So Much Going On In The World

November 20, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

I get this COVID-19 has flipped all our lives upside down. But 2020 doesn't seem to stop with these bad surprised that keep popping up. It has to be one of the worst years in history, I could be wrong, but in my history, it is lol. I am very disappointed in 2 companies. Probably more but I'll just chat about 2. Walmart - we are signed up for unlimited free delivery, and I have been taking full advantage of that. The delivery drivers have been for the most part on top of the game with the exception of 2 deliveries where they delivered to the front door instead of the side door as specified in my orders. But they are filled correctly and very happy with how they have picked out my produce. My issue today is the web browsers and app not allowing me to get through check out. I don't think I am the only one. I honestly had to look Continue Reading

It Truly Is Fall In MA!

October 2, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

Here are a few pictures of the backyard and how full of leaves it gets. It is chilly today and I am actually wearing jeans and a 3/4 sleeve top, I have my hair down. I usually wear it up during the summer but it keeps my back warm. That is the best part of having long hair. The cat in the picture is Lilo, he is a stray I feed, love him, and would love to be his new mommy. Actually, I think he may be a she. So sometimes I call her Lilo, sometimes I call her Lila lol. I thought maybe the name Molly, but that reminds me of someone that was not so very nice to me. I can't tell if it is a boy or a girl. I can't get close enough, and the tail is down all the time LOL. About a year or two ago, we went into the backyard, made a huge pile of leaves and threw them up in the air and caught it on camera and video, that was so much fun. We Continue Reading

Check or No Check Is the Question!

July 13, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

The big question on many of our minds is 'Will there be another stimulus check?' I don't know, but with what I have been reading in the paper, and seeing on the news it sure looks like it may happen. COVID-19 is affecting millions of people, many of you may never hear about them, but they are out there and they need help. A lot of people are hoping there is a 2nd stimulus check with all these businesses that have permanently closed, and millions that have lost their jobs, people need money to buy food, pay bills, etc. I stumbled onto this article on Forbes about the 'Second Stimulus' check, I found it interesting and gives those in need hope, the possibility of a recurring direct stimulus check would be a godsend for many, but will it happen? We can only hope and pray. I think now more than ever we need to manage our money better. Continue Reading
