I have been MIA, I have been so busy, with getting married, then putting off the reception until this past weekend, and in between setting up my other YouTube channel, while still posting on my 1st YouTube channel, just super busy. I probably could have written a short blog, but I just couldn't get around to it. Forgive me. As I mentioned we got married in May, and this past weekend we had his family over for a BBQ (reception). Getting Organized, or Trying To!
Why does getting organized take so much time. You realize how much you have when you do the littles of organizing lol. Even keeping up with my planner takes time. So it is a lot of stuff I try to juggle. Sometimes I think I overwhelm myself so much. I get stressed, and then I get a weird head ache that only affects my left back side, weird, like right behind my ear. Is that possibly from the fall down the basement stairs last year? Gosh I hope not :( This is how I feel sometimes, except my hair doesn't get like that hehe. I am seriously thinking of just donating some nail polishes that I have had for a long time since I have newer polishes now. Happy Mother’s Day
We are having terrible weather on this Mother's Day, however, that is not taking away from it being Mother's Day. I choose to stay home today, as my honey took his mother to visit his Grandmother. She's been dealing with some heavy stuff these days with the nursing home case, so we have tried our best to support her and keep her company. At her age it must be scary to have to deal with things alone. We were able to find a good nursing home abuse attorney that comes well recommended. They're a friend of a friend, and they're taking good care of us. The old lady doesn't always know exactly what's going on but we try our best to tell her she doesn't need to worry about things too much, and we'll let her know when her input is needed. We had a White Christmas, sorta!
I have always wanted to have a White Christmas, the fact we got some early snow this year I had high hopes. Christmas Eve comes along, no snow! I was bummed but thought okay next year. So when I wake up Christmas morning. My honey tells me, you might want to look outside!! I was, huh? What are you talking about? All confused right? I look through the curtain and right away I see it is SNOWING!! I thought OMG OMG we are having a White Christmas after all. I didn't take any pictures of the snow and all trust me I will bomb you with those later, but I am sharing the little white Christmas tree from Dollar Tree I had in my room, cute right :) A few days prior while shopping, it was snowing and they flakes were big. It’s Friday! Happy Weekend!
This week went pretty quick. I don't feel I accomplished as much as I wanted to, and honestly planning helps zero lol. Because a lot of things keep coming up that take me away from what I have planned *sigh*. Oh well, it is still fun to plan :P We are a 1 car family, so getting to the shops has to wait for the weekend, unfortunately. I wish I had another car, so I can do some shopping during the week, and we would have more time at home to do things or go out for entertainment purposes. But it is, what it is and we manage. So when Friday hits, I am excited to get to Dollar Tree and see what goodies I can find that I have been drooling over all week hehe.
