I have been busy, but when aren't I right? There just isn't enough time in a day, to do all that you want to do. And even when you are busy, you just have to take some time out for yourself. It is healthy. I recently posted a weigh-in, as recent as today (Jan 19, 2023), depending on when I post this lol. I am happy with those results, although I know they won't always be what I want, all I can do is try my best. It is better than not trying at all. It is raining today, a dreary day. It got colder in my hobby room, and then I realized it was raining. It always gets colder when it rains. I am surprised we haven't got a lot of snow. However, it is normal for us to get a lot of snow from February through March. I am kind of looking forward to it, but at the same time, I am not. I say this because I worry about my feral boys outside. Sammy Continue Reading
The Boston #RedSox Win The #WorldSeries 2013
I cannot tell you how happy I am for the team!! What a wonderful turn around, the curse has been broken, and they made history last night. My hunny and myself watched the whole game, it was amazing, some really weird things happened, but it was all for the good, because Boston Red Sox won 6-1 in game 6 of the World Series, I cannot be happier! I'm so dang proud of every one of them. There are a few players I wish I could of seen in this series, but you know what these guys earned it! Let me share a few photos after their win! After the game I turned to William and said. You know what a lot of good things happened this month! We got engaged, William getting his raise, the Red Sox winning the World Series, they are great things in our lives, and it's a month and year I will never forget. I was with my hunny when the Continue Reading
Snowmageddon 2013!
LOL, inside joke. Well Williams work friends were all talking, and one comes up with Snowmageddon, and another comes up with Snowpocalypse LOL. I found it so funny, I just had to use it for a title. Even though the blizzard of 2013 is no joke. Thousands of people without electricity and heat, it's just horrible and scary. But the city is helping. Yesterday, the Governor declared everyone stay off the road after 4 pm, as some places experienced white out, and it was wiping around like crazy out side. We got over 20 inches of snow here, other places lots more. So I took some pictures last night, and some short clips, just for my own stash lol. But also took some today, when we went out so William can dig the truck out as well. The snow looks absolutely gorgeous! Even more beautiful when the sun is out, it wasn't out very much today, hidden Continue Reading
Coincidence? Perhaps!
When I posted last, I had mentioned that I was disappointed because we have had little snow. Well the very next day it snowed, just for awhile but it was enough to get me all giddy, it didn't last long because the next day it started to melt, so I was bummed out again lol. Yesterday William tells me that we are going to be getting a blizzard, so again I'm all happy and all giddy. I know most people would be dreading a blizzard. And I also know that I'm not the one that has to walk through it, or drive in it, but I'm not taking back the fact it excites me. Earlier I did some laundry and what a fiasco, firstly I take my laundry, and realise almost all the washers are in use, which is rare at 8 in the morning. One washer was available, so I was happy for that. As I was loading up my wash, the washers next to me, start to over flow, and Continue Reading
Hardly Any Snow
I'm rather disappointed, because we haven't got as much snow as I'd hoped. I remember initially thinking about coming to the east coast, I thought 'Wow, we will be hit with a lot of snow', but really hardly has come down. I'm hoping for another big drop. I know there are a lot of people that would prefer it don't snow as much, I'm a west coast girl, so yeah I like the snow fall. I love the snow, because as I've said quite often, it don't really snow in California. On rare occasion, like the apocalypse lol, it might snow. Actually I'm lying, it does snow in California, just out in the area they call high desert, yeah the 'desert' wow hey? But it's true, I have lived out there before and seen it with my own eyes. It's not like the snow fall here in Massachusetts, but it was still and experience and just as memorable. I think I may Continue Reading
