Oh my gosh, we had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Although I really miss my family, and I know they are all with loved ones. Well except for my oldest brother which I am pretty sure he and my father went to my middle brothers house for Thanksgiving. I don't like knowing any of them spent it alone. As for my sister, she spend it with her partner, and I with my honey! On Williams side of the family, his mom was at home, as she had to work the first shift for the crazy Black Friday sales, yikes, but went home about 9 am so I am sure she is resting up. Will have to save her a nice plate of Thanksgiving dinner. Last and never the least is my mother, even though she is not with us, she is in spirit. Oh how I wished she would of sat at the table to have dinner with me and William. *Sigh* :( Moving on to happier things, check out the Turkey my honey Continue Reading
Are You Ready For The Holidays?
Goodbye October, Hello November, it is sweater and boots season, yay! I love sweater season, it is fun to just get bundled up for the cold season. Last week it had been raining off and on, very dreary weather, but today it was sunny but chilly, we went out to the mall, walked around, stopped into Bath and Body Works, picked up some goodies, I will be doing a haul video for it hopefully next few days! I'll turn out adding another photo after I make my haul video, once I finish posting this blog. So for Halloween, where we live not a lot of kids come around, but we had still put up Continue Reading
Happy Labor Day!
So the terrible hurricane has passed, and left it's destruction. I want to briefly talk about this, okay I think that's enough now lol, just kidding. No really we even lost our power for a few hours. I can't imagine what others are going through. We got ice, and prepared ourselves. IMHO, I think it's better to be prepared than to get caught without your pants down so to speak. Seriously I'm happy we were prepared, because you just never know. From what I heard, I can't remember how but at least 30 some people lost their lives, gosh that's horrible :(, my loving William still has no phone or internet at his work, sure they got electricity, but can you imagine how hard it is to run a business with those two missing services. I know Verizon and the power company are trying their hardest to get that turned on. I hope it's soon. I hate to see Continue Reading
