Can you believe how fast this year has gone? And oh my goodness so much craziness going on. We really need our nation to heal. What is happening is unacceptable. I don't like talking about politics too much, but I just want the truth to come out, whatever it may be. God help us all. On a happier note. I am starting to see houses with Christmas lights, it is a time for cheer and we all need it badly. We aren't going to put up many lights this year, but we will be putting up a Christmas tree. We cannot have a real tree because we have cats, and if you have cats you shouldn't either. Please don't put a real tree, this is very dangerous for cats and dogs. Busy, No Time For YouTube
I have found that I get too busy, and I neglect my YouTube channel. In all honesty, I find it has become a burden. I no longer enjoy it like I used to, but I keep it because I do product reviews and I like posting them on YouTube. I am considering changing my YouTube name, currently, it is PrettyThingsRock, I feel I have outgrown the 'Rock' portion of it. I like the PrettyThings part but I think I am going to change that too. When I do make the change, I am going to delete most of my outdated videos, and just leave more recent review videos up. I have a problem, well it may not really be a problem but here it is. I have watermarked all my videos with 'PrettyThingsRock' and since I plan on leaving some of my videos up the watermark will have to stay as it is embedded into the video. I Have No Excuse
I do have reasons though. Reasons for not posting until now. There is so much going on, that I am really not going to get into much of it. Besides the fact I was away from here and YouTube, we did do some DIYing to our bedroom and that took up time because we did do it ourselves, my husband did most of it, bless his heart. We are happy with the results. Today I have been doing a lot, and I am tired. I don't feel much like posting but I thought I should write something, let you all know we are doing fine. We just have been really busy. Plus I had slacked off on my listings, I sold things and sent them out, but I hadn't been adding stuff, so this week that is what I have been doing. Birthday & Cleaning up YouTube Videos
My birthday was 6 days ago, it was really nice because I spent it with the person I wanted to spend it with, my husband. My gosh, it's so weird calling William, my husband. But at the same time, a dream come true. I may not have had a big ideal wedding, but I am happy, and that is what counts. My mother passed away quite a few years ago, so it wouldn't have been the same. I won't lie, I would have wanted a bigger wedding, it just didn't happen and well that is just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. I have the perfect husband, and I will take that over a big wedding any day. He gave me a gorgeous bracelet for my birthday! I Am So Guilty!
I have been MIA, I have been so busy, with getting married, then putting off the reception until this past weekend, and in between setting up my other YouTube channel, while still posting on my 1st YouTube channel, just super busy. I probably could have written a short blog, but I just couldn't get around to it. Forgive me. As I mentioned we got married in May, and this past weekend we had his family over for a BBQ (reception). It went really well, it was their first time visiting our quaint little home, and they loved it. The weather was great a little hot at times, but inside it was cooler, especially for Williams grandmother who is now my grandmother, she is quite a person, funny too.
