Double Rainbow

October 26, 2006 by Emily 1 Comment

Oh we had such a great time, we turned out not going on friday, because Al was so tired from that weeks work, so we decided to leave on saturday, needless to say lots of things were said and done, but we managed to get there and have a good time. Soon as we drove up and found our pit, a double big rainbow came over ther camp it was gorgeous! Unfortunately I didn’t get a shot of that, because I was upset with Al, for something that happened earlier. Regardless we mananged to put the tent up, which was not hard at all, you were right Kasee it was as easy as sticking poles in the ground and putting the strings around them, literally lol. Our tent wasn’t one of those complicated ones so that made it much easier. On Saturday night we went to a party, just outside of the camping grounds, had a glass too much of wine, because I was feeling like crap the next day, took me a day and a half to recooperate, haha. I’ve become such a light weight. But during out stay there, it was great because when we first arrived, it began raining, right after we checked in, funny they had not record of my reservation bastards!! They even took our credit card information, so I need to follow that up. Anyway, so it started raining, when we got to our pit it stopped, and thats when the gorgeous double rainbow came over the whole campsite, it was so cool. On sunday when we were packing up, just before we put the last few things into the car, what happens? It starts to pour, what luck, it’s like it stopped so we can have a good time there. I’ve gone camping before but never in the winter, I can imagine how much fun it can be in the summer. Soon as I put some pics on the computer I’ll post some. Right well it’s late and I need to get some zZzZz’s.

It sounds like you had a great camping expirience. The double rainbow really must have been looking pretty – I have seen those sometimes.

Hehe I am happy that you guys managed to put up the tent without hurting the tent or getting hurt yourself – Maybe it was the Igloo type of tent? those are pretty easy to put up.
