I love the Fall season, but it ruins it when it keeps raining. I can't believe how much rain we have recently gotten. I want to enjoy the Fall season before it begins to snow. I took advantage of the weather yesterday and stepped out to the deck and recorded the beautiful woods behind our house. The leaves changing color and falling, it was really breathtaking in my opinion, but I am biased. Oh yes Happy Halloween!! I decided to do my face up lol. Well first time trying to do a Sugar Skull look, to say the least it didn't come out as I had wanted. I was so very unprepared. I have to say I did have fun doing it, it was an experience I would like to make better next year. My Mind Is In A Fog
I woke up at around 5 am to feed my girls, (Daisy and Lily) my cats, yes I am a fur mommy. They won't let you sleep if you don't tend to them. I love my girls though, so I am happy to get up and feed them. You rarely find one without the other, 2 peas in a pod :) I decide to stay up, as I had a couple of packages to get out to the post today, and since my fiance was going to the post office anyway I asked him to take it for me. Hello September! Fall is Almost Here!
Nineteen days until the official first day of Fall! Wow, already so hard to believe. Just today I was looking out the kitchen window into the backyard and I saw a few leaves fall. I turned to William and told him, "I just saw a few leaves fall". He says "bite your tongue". Yeah, I don't think he is ready for Fall and to be quite honest, I'm not either. We are really enjoying our summer. During our Labor Day weekend, my honey as I like to refer to William spent some time doing some repairs to the house, not urgent repairs but things we wanted to fix, like our faucet in the bathroom needed replacing. We had recently had the bathroom redone, and by the way, it looks gorgeous. Back to the sink, yeah we used our old faucet and thought it was time for a new one, so a new went up.
