The Flu is going around, everywhere, schools, work, gosh I'm worried about catching it, but if I was going to catch it. I would of by now, as William had it, and he was burning up. He is much better now, he's still congested, and still taking medicine, but it's done him good. I'm glad, because he's like a baby when getting sick hehe. Aww bless him, he takes care of me, and it was my turn to take care of him. I'm shocked though I didn't catch it, yet! lol. This weekend is Christmas party at Jaime's and the blouse I ordered for it, well its definitely a Christmas color haha. But the sleeves have ruffles and now it seems it's a bit too long, and its a thinner material so I don't know if it's going to be ideal to wear. Shopping Time
Ok I have done most of my shopping online, but there are still a few things that need to be bought, and we are going to take advantage and get some of this done this weekend. Well I hope we can get it done. It would be nice not to have to rush at the last minute to get something. We are planning our Christmas dinner already. The week before Christmas, we are going to Jaime's house for Christmas celebration with Williams family. It'll be nice to see the kids again. I told William I wanted to make little surprise bags for the kids, put some cute things in there, so every child gets a Christmas goodie bag. I hope we can still do this. I asked him how many kids will be there, I think I'm going to need to remind him again hehe. Trees and Lights
Well a lot of people have already started putting up their lights, and trees. Strangely enough this year we haven't yet. Last year we did it right after Thanksgiving. I suppose because our stuff was conveniently in one place, and now it's in a storage place, so it's not as handy as it was before. But we did get some lights up on the windows which I'm happy for. And they are so bright, neighbors aren't quite as bright. When we were shopping yesterday for them, I was hoping to find some that auto-shut, but we weren't able to but we found a better deal, and I like deals :) I started this post earlier, but I started to feel sick again, like before. Cheery Time
That's right, Christmas season always seems to be so cheery, and people are so much nicer. I thought I spoke of that at one point in one of my past blogs. But I'll touch on it again. During Christmas season mainly, people seem a lot nicer, even though this is probably a very high stressful time of the year. With running around trying to get all your gifts bought and fighting the traffic not to mention the traffic inside the stores too. Oh but I love this time of the year all the same, and I welcome it every year. Oh and especially when there is snow, it feels like Christmas even more so. I hope we get some this year! We usually do! I have finished my shopping for my boyfriend, and I'm really happy about that. I wish I could do the shopping for William, so he doesn't have to. Happy Thanksgiving
I just wanted to write a quick post, to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. There is a lot I want to be thankful for. My family and friends, the people I've met online over the years that includes those who visit my websites, thank you so much. Like I said so much I want to be thankful for I can go on forever hehe. We are going to my Williams sisters house (Jaime) for Thanksgiving, it will be the first time going there. Last year we spent it together, and made a nice big Turkey, now it's someone else's turn, hehe! Last night I made four pumpkin pies, yummy hey? Yeah but I'm only taking two!
