Let me start by apologising. I had gotten so busy, and didn't have time to come and post updates, for anyone who cares *rolls eyes* LOL. This is more for me than anything or anyone else. I have been keeping up with my weight loss, as you can see from my title. I have weighed in every Saturday since I started. But it is for my own record as well. I feel horrible not updating, but I am happy I am keeping up with my diet. I have had some struggles, some failures, and some triumphs, and today, I finally, even though it is 3 months later than I had planned, I reached my 100 lb milestone, one of two I hope to reach, I WILL reach. This all has been a bit scary. When I was younger I ended up being diagnosed with an eating disorder. It got pretty serious, and I ended up going to one of those eating disorder treatment facilities to get help. I Continue Reading
Weigh-in #25 – #32 – Wow huh?
I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving, as I probably will not post on Thanksgiving, but I do hope you all have a lovely time. We are going to the in-laws (soon to be lol), that will be a nice time, I am sure! It usually always is, and with plenty to eat, I will of course have to watch how much I eat, I have lost a lot of weight in the course of almost a year, and it makes me very happy, but I don’t plan on backtracking to where I used to be. I found a picture of me, I am not sure of when, and I am literally disgusted with myself but with that said, I have come a long way, and still have a long way to go. Yes, I was a big girl, in all senses of the word. I had stopped posting, not because I was failing, but because, time just go out of my hands, and before I know it, I am 2 months behind in posting an update, so this post will catch Continue Reading
Weigh-in #25, Ugh mistakes!
So I initially thought I lost 5lbs, it was a mistake I made, and didn’t realize it, until later in the week, oh boy I hate when I do that because it really does throw me off, not only mentally, but on MyFitnessPal, if I put in a certain weight, it will carry over, so there is no fixing it, I just have to adjust it in my next submission, well what is done, is done. it turns out, I only lost .09 lbs, lol far from 5 lbs haha. Anyway, regardless of my mistake, I am back on track and doing okay. With that said here are this week's results. This sounds so random, but my nail was fixable, but I had to be very gentle with it, as it had broke, right on the meaty part of the nail bed. That will all heal over time. Ok till next time. God BlessEmily Continue Reading
Weigh-in #23 – Doing good!
Yesterday, we went to William's family house in Boston for a triple birthday party, so this was a test of not eating too much and being picky about what I was going to have. Since they ordered pizza and a cold cuts tray to make sandwiches, I had to estimate. I did not add mayonnaise as it was too high in calories, but I did add mustard which was zero. About 2 slices of two different types of sandwich meats, and a slice of cheese (Swiss), and finally 2-4 tablespoons of coleslaw. I had a cup of coffee black with some sweet n’ low, and later a decaf Diet Coke. I think I did okay, breakfast was at Dunkin Donuts, so I know how many calories I had, as it is not the first time I’ve had their awesome turkey bacon breakfast croissants, so good!!! 390 calories though, and an iced coffee, slim milk, and sweet n’ low. So not bad, and for dinner, a Continue Reading
Weigh-in #22 -Staying on Track!
As you can tell by the title, this last weigh-in was a good one as well. Not as great as last week's 5 lb loss, I still don’t know what I did differently but it was really good to have a huge jump like that. Now let’s talk about this passed weigh-in, I weighed myself, hoping I didn’t gain, but was pretty confident I wouldn’t, below is the image of what my weigh-in was. It is about 2 lbs I lost which is what I like to lose per week, so this weigh-in is another success story, which makes me very happy, considering a couple of bad weigh-ins I had in the past. My honey tells me that I am going to make my goal, which was to lose 100 lbs in a year. I officially started my diet on January 12, 2014, at this point in time, I was not logging into the MyFitnessPal app that helps me keep track of weight, what I eat, and calories. Wish I had it Continue Reading
