I Hate Being Hungry!

January 21, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I think the worst part of a diet, is not the exercise, well I guess that is too lol but it’s adjusting to not eating, what you normally were eating, or should I say the portion size. The first few weeks, you go hungry. I hate that! I can’t even be near the kitchen, because I get hungry haha. I try to drink water when I get hungry, it helps fill me up. I’m trying to stay under 1,660 (corrected) calories a day, some may think that is a lot, but I think for myself it’s ideal at this time, perhaps later it will change. But as mentioned, it’s just those moments when I feel the hunger pangs. I can’t wait until I get passed that phase. As for exercise, it’s difficult for me, as my knees are bad. I injured one over 5 years ago, and have not been able to have a doctor look at it. It’s bad enough I just got a bill, that was not fully covered, Continue Reading

Happy Gobble Gobble Day!

November 28, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Oh my, it's that time again. Wow how time flies, it was just Summer. Surprisingly I wasn't looking forward to Winter yet!! I love the snow but wanted a bit more warm weather. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you are spending it with loved ones, enjoy the festivities! I'm thankful for having a loving family, even though we aren't the closest right now, they are always in my thoughts and my heart. I hope to visit them in the coming year if God permits. As a matter of fact, I spoke with my oldest brother Eric and my dad yesterday, we said our Happy Thanksgiving messages, and my dad asked me if I had forgotten him, I said no never, even if we don't talk, you are always in my mind and heart and I love you. He recently had cancer, but is better now, still weak but doing good, my older brother is there to take care Continue Reading

Happy Halloween 2013

It's finally here!! My nails are polished pumpkin orange, just need to add a few ghost & goblins on them! The kiddies are out trick o' treating, and I'm ready for some scary movies and cuddle time with my hunny! It's come and gone so fast, it's unbelievable. As I sit here waiting for my hunny to get home from work, I can hear the wind whistling outside, how creepy but yet so perfect for this Halloween night! What are you all doing? Whatever it is. I hope you have fun, and are safe! That is all for me! Happy Halloween! Continue Reading

Happy Birthday Catherine

Last night we had a family dinner, Williams family. We all met up at a great restaurant. It was to celebrate Williams moms 60th birthday, woo. There were a few times during dinner, the restaurant go so loud I couldn't hear people at our own table talking lol. There were about 11 of us. It was nice, we sand Happy Birthday to her, we got her a nice warm New Englands Patriot zipped up sweater, really nice one too, she absolutely loved it. She really doesn't look 60 she looks more like early to mid 50's. She is such a super nice lady, and happy to call her almost my mother in law hehe. From what I heard, now that she is at 60, she gets a free cup of coffee free at Dunkin Donuts for life, that is pretty awesome. Well I stopped blogging, and did a quick search, according to this forum thread, seniors (55 and over) get a free cup every Continue Reading

Saturday Smiles – Changing Seasons

September 21, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Today is a fun, Saturday Smiles, as it has to do with photography, Massachusetts, and seasons changing. We are getting ready for some change of the season again. We can already feel that cool weather settling in. I don’t ask for an iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts anymore, no need for that. Instead, I make myself a nice cup of tea, yeah it’s that time. When summer began, I did a little project where I took pictures of these two trees out in front, one in front of our window, the other one directly across the street. I tried going out every day until the tree was full of leaves after I finally finished. I went back to look, and it’s so amazing how you can see the tree fill up with leaves. I plan to make a little video, showing the changes. It was really cool. I went out at the same time of the day. Pretty awesome that the season changing Continue Reading
