We Are Engaged!!!

October 29, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Can you believe it? I know a lot of people I know are thinking "Finally"! I don't blame them, it's me being picky, or just unlucky, I choose the first *wink*. Those who know me, read my blog posts, or know me IRL, know who my Hunny is, my wonderful absolutely amazing William!! On October 22, 2014, at about 6 pm EST, he came home, opened up a box, and asked me "Will you marry me in an outdoor wedding?" I of course said YES!!!! We had talked about it, and we had looked at wood rings, so it was a matter of time. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way, his way, his personality, nothing made up all original. He has always been a funny guy, and the only guy in the world that has made me laugh every day of my life that I have been with him, he's the only one that has ever really made me laugh to the point of tearing up. Happy Birthday Catherine

Last night we had a family dinner, Williams family. We all met up at a great restaurant. It was to celebrate Williams moms 60th birthday, woo. There were a few times during dinner, the restaurant go so loud I couldn't hear people at our own table talking lol. There were about 11 of us. It was nice, we sand Happy Birthday to her, we got her a nice warm New Englands Patriot zipped up sweater, really nice one too, she absolutely loved it. She really doesn't look 60 she looks more like early to mid 50's. She is such a super nice lady, and happy to call her almost my mother in law hehe. From what I heard, now that she is at 60, she gets a free cup of coffee free at Dunkin Donuts for life, that is pretty awesome. Well I stopped blogging, and did a quick search, according to this forum thread, seniors (55 and over) get a free cup every Continue Reading

Saturday Smiles – Friendships

September 16, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I knew what I wanted to write about, but I didn’t know what image to use, so I googled friendships in the images category, looking for something. I saw this photo and thought oh how perfect. It instantly made me smile. Didn’t it make you smile too? Or am I just the mushy kind of person? Perhaps I am. I’m an animal person, not all animals, but definitely cats and dogs, they are just too cute, adorable, and loving. I just love watching a cat and dog get along, it’s a really interesting interaction to watch. We know the dog can kill the kitten but doesn’t, and just plays with it ever so gently. I think it’s awesome. I don’t have pets, I may have mentioned it or not. I mean I do have a pet, but not a dog or cat. We only have a fish, his name is Dexter. Let me show you him. He is an awesome fish, he’s Double Tailed Betta. Continue Reading

Are You Superstitious? Happy Friday the 13th!

Friday the 13th

I am, and am not superstitious. With some things I am, I do believe in ghosts, not to sure about the black cat and ladder bit, but I am still cautious, don't hurt to be, right? The day is almost over, it's 6:32 pm as I write this. The day has been okay, I was home all day, as that seems to be my itinerary for quite a while, it's a long story, I won't bore. Nothing really bad has happened today, I mean in the past month, yes, I caught a bad virus and was hospitalised, yup that bad. I am better now, finished up my medication, still need to do a follow up visit, but waiting on an insurance package to arrive, and I really wish it would. Okay maybe that is the bad thing that happened, kind of, it's been on going all week *sigh*. Today I cancelled my Glossybox subscription, in retrospect, I feel that I haven't really benefited from that Continue Reading

Do Gadgets Run Your Life?

September 7, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I'll be the first to say, I <3 my gadgets, but do they run my life?? Granted that they aren't as important as the tools from C Larboard, but no, not really, but we are dependent on them, to make life easier, quicker and be social without really being social, LOL. Does that make sense?? It does in my head. How many of you find yourself taking your phone to the restroom, when you really shouldn't?? *raises hand*, yeah I admit it, I can't help it, I should take a magazine lol. Reading should be something, I do more than anything else, liker playing games, or tweeting or facebooking, or even watch YouTube videos. But I can't help myself, can you? So again, I ask. Do gadgets run your life??? Makes you think doesn't it? I guess being dependent on these wonderful gadgets in a way does kind of mean they run our lives, or better yet, we just Continue Reading
