It's been a week and I'm still sick, I got a bad cough, which I have to say has gotten better, so I'm happy. Poor Alice was sick for 2 weeks, I just couldn't believe how it would not go away, and even now she is weak and she has the same cough I do. I'm convinced that, at least with me, this started as an allergy. We might have caught a bug after that but I'm pretty sure something was making me allergic at first. I'm going to schedule an appointment with a Board Certified Allergist Center that is nearby. It's about time I got those tests done so I know what to watch out for. Yeah, it's been that bad! Is it going around? Probably. Good thing she didn't have it when she was sick, that would of been ALOT of time showing her out sick and it just wouldn't look good, so I am glad it happened during her time off. Groundhog Day
Even though it's not groundhogs day here, I'd still like to say Happy Groundhogs Day, looks like Punxsutawney Phil says we are to expect an early spring, yay! I didn't get to see it on TV but it's great news huh? Omg I have such a bad cold, I caught it from Alice, she had it worse than me, she's much better now, she had a fever and all, poor thing. So glad she is feeling better, but I made her stay in bed a lot until she started feeling better. This movie I just finished watching, and I can't be any more frightened to go to another country for fear of something like that happening. I know it's just a movie, but that kind of stuff really happens, places where there is no law enforcement, yeah it sounds ideal, you can do anything you want, but what if something happened and you needed the law, where are you now? Well, after seeing this movie, and Hostel, I'm thinking twice of going anywhere that is not in the city lol. Do I sound a bit paranoid? Yeah I guess I am. I mean if Alice and myself went to a place and someone tried doing something to her, hurting her you know? I would go ballistic, I think they'd be afraid of me, instead of me being afraid of them. Oh boy I got a chance to finally see United 93, it was so extremely sad, my heart goes out to all of the lost heroes. At one point in the movie, I actually was practically standing yelling "get them, get them" I was so shocked at myself at the way I reacted to what was happening, and began to ask myself, what would I have done, would I have tried to help some how? I don't know, but it's such a tragedy. I've been wanting to see it though, and I'm glad I did. I watched the interviews of the family members, very heart retching I tell you. So my bday is come and gone, lol. Goes so quickly huh? Seems like life in general seems to go by so quick. So Quick
My bday is tomorrow, Alice and I celebrated it yesterday because she had to get back to London for work. It was nice and cozy and we both had a nice time. I can't believe the holidays are here again, this is going to be my 2nd Christmas in England, and our first in our home. Next week we plan to go and see about getting a nice tree, and we are seeing about getting our fireplace workable, just needs to be cleaned and well the front part is blocked off so that needs to be opened up. But it's a big beautiful old Victorian fireplace, we just adore it. We watched the Movie Madagascar, it was so cute, it's rare when I watch those type of movies because I'm always wanting to watch some kind of horror movie, so it was nice to watch something like that.
