They Are Scarce

October 29, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I couldn't find a cute or cool theme for Halloween, this is the best I could do, I didn't have much time to really check. And I'm not feeling well so I thought I would just try to fix this up, as it will only be up for a few more day, then it comes down. But I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. Be safe out there. We did some shopping today, yeah ran to a few stores an what not. Really upset with Walmart as they didn't have the pull type of laundry hampers, the one I have I bought there when I moved to MA, and now they don't have any *shocked* seriously I was WTF!!! So we were passing Kmart, and I asked William would you mind? He said sure, and again NOTHING how much does that piss me off GRRR!!! If it was going to be like this, I would of done all my shopping at Target, we had passed like 2 of them too, AHH I'm so mad Continue Reading

So Much Goodness #Food #BAD11

October 16, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Here we are again, another Blog Action Day, this years topic is food! Oh my goodness, there are so many deliciously enticing foods. But I think about the topic a little deeper, and why does guilt set in? I don't know, wait I do know. Because I start to think about all those countries with people that wish they would have just one bite of what tonight's dinner would be. Is it normal to feel guilty? I'm going to say yes, I think anyone that is writing a BAD post is going to think about how I just felt. I don't want this to really be a sad blog, so let's keep it a bit light. I have experienced so many good foods like the Tupelo Honey for Sale, Guatemalan food, so delicious, especially the tamales, oh goodness me. so yummy goodness, and the smaller Mexican flavored tamales also so delicious. I spend a few years in England, and got to Continue Reading

Oh No Not Static!

October 6, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Well I've been gone for a good while. I guess that means I either didn't have much to say, was way too busy, or just lazy about blogging. I'll leave that up to you :) Today I experienced a true cold Fall/Winter day. It was so cold the heater popped on, and I was glad because I was freezing. My hands get dry, the moisture is gone in them, so I need to keep a bottle of lotion near my desk, and remember to put lotion after I wash my hands each time. I don't know if that happens to others, because if I don't I will have no grip when it comes to holding on to the rail as I go down or up stairs. Plus I attract more static cling that I want. Oh NOO I hate static cling, I regularly get zapped when I touch a light switch or a lamp. I will not be liking that about winter. I find myself getting bored of things way too quickly, why that Continue Reading

10 Years? Really?

September 11, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

It's so hard to believe, that, that much time really has flown by. Throughout those 10 years I have often thought about what happened on that day. I mean seriously, who couldn't? I'm sure it's come into your mind, now and then. Something triggers the memory, or perhaps you lost someone there, and I'm so very sorry for that. None of that should of ever happened, what has humanity come to. But I'm not here to talk politics lol, not that I ever do. But I just want to remember. So William went out to get the newspaper, and we got the Boston Herald, the front page was beautiful, I decided to keep the front page, just felt like I wanted to, is that wrong? Anyway I took a quick snapshot to show you all. I just felt like sharing that too. I'm kind of speechless to this 911 topic, I just feel so sad right now, and I want to change the Continue Reading

Happy Labor Day!

So the terrible hurricane has passed, and left it's destruction. I want to briefly talk about this, okay I think that's enough now lol, just kidding. No really we even lost our power for a few hours. I can't imagine what others are going through. We got ice, and prepared ourselves. IMHO, I think it's better to be prepared than to get caught without your pants down so to speak. Seriously I'm happy we were prepared, because you just never know. From what I heard, I can't remember how but at least 30 some people lost their lives, gosh that's horrible :(, my loving William still has no phone or internet at his work, sure they got electricity, but can you imagine how hard it is to run a business with those two missing services. I know Verizon and the power company are trying their hardest to get that turned on. I hope it's soon. I hate to see Continue Reading
