Holidays Roll In

November 17, 2011 by Emily 2 Comments

Looks like it's finally that time of the year, when the Holidays roll in and just pop up one after another. Are you ready? I'm not sure if I am. I think I am. I've gotten a head start on getting Williams Christmas gifts so I'm happy with that, his birthday passed in October so that is taken care of. First is Thanksgiving, we aren't making our own, we're going to his Uncles/Aunts house for Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been there, so it'll be a new experience for me. My first year here in MA, I spent at home with William, we made our own lovely Thanksgiving dinner, I enjoyed that very much. The second year, we spent at his Mothers, and this year will be at his Uncle/Aunts, so it's been pretty fun. I still feel like an outsider, but that's just me. He had a nice family. I don't see them much except for Holidays, so it's always nice Continue Reading

Beautiful Day Out

November 12, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

We had a shopping trip today to Target, but we decided to check Walmart to see if the prices were less for what we were looking for and they were. I have to blame myself for breaking our portable heater, last year I got zapped (static electricity) and the off function wouldn't work anymore. So we resorted to unplugging and plugging in, I know that probably could of been dangerous but thank the Lord that it hadn't caused a fire or anything. Seems like I really attract static electricity. I have long hair down to my bum, the air is dry so my hair tends to grab on the the static for some reason, plus if I don't lotion myself up, my hands will get static, and well we know some clothing will grab on to static as well. Ugh what a pain, I love the Fall/Winter here, but I can do without the constant zapping due to static electricity, I'm not Continue Reading

God Bless Our Veterans

November 11, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Seriously I am so thankful to each and every soldier that ever served, without them this world would be real chaos. They help keep the peace in whatever way they could, unfortunately some gave their lives, and because of this is why we should honor them on this day and everyday. I want to thank those that have come across in my life time that have served, and especially to those I hold dear to my heart, my brothers both served in the Air Force and Navy, I thank them for putting themselves out there to keep this world just a little more safer. Thank you Thank you Thank you and God Bless you and your loved ones. I should of wrote this earlier, but my day has been pretty hectic. Anyway I walked outside today, to accompany my boyfriend while he smoked a cigarette (yeah nasty habit, but I love him and I'm use to it), besides I smoke a bit Continue Reading

What’s Tomorrow?

November 10, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Well tomorrow is a landmark date, yes 11-11-11, what will you be doing this Friday? Anything special? To remember this day that will only come once in our lifetime. Wow! What a concept, imagine never seeing that date ever again, I guess we're lucky in that way. I don't know what I'll be doing, probably the same stuff as usual, lol. I seen on TV earlier, that people may be doing crazy things on that day. Seems to have something to do with numerology or something. I didn't really listen to it all, maybe I should of but I didn't lol. Today I had a shit load of laundry to do, plus it was raining, not a fan of the two combined, but I got it done, better than going out in blistering hot weather, then I would be an ultra grouch, which you don't want to be around, trust me lol. OMG I totally got distracted, and forgot I was writing this Continue Reading

Beating The Bug

November 6, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So for over a week, I have had this cold, it's been kicking my ass, but I think I finally have beat the bug. Well apart from the coughing that I seem to can't shake, this cold it just about gone. Oh I'm so happy. I sometimes feel like it wants to return, but I continue to fight it, and take medicines, and everything possible to shake it. I certainly don't want to get it again this winter, and I don't want William to get it, thank goodness he hasn't caught it. He's such a baby when he gets sick (hope he don't see this lol) but then again, most men are babies when they get sick! Ok so tonight we baked some lovely sugar cookies, and brownies, well I helped with them, William loves to cook and bake, that is my guy right there! Amazing hey? I got the picture on twitter let me grab and insert! So yummy, I don't have a picture of the Continue Reading
