Oh yes, we have been looking forward to summer for awhile, as soon as the weather warmed up, we took off the cover from the BBQ. The end of Hockey season, as a matter of fact they Boston Bruins are playing tonight, so I'll be finishing this post tomorrow. It's do or die!! GOOOO Bruins! Tonight is game 4, if we lose it's over, but I have a good feeling :) So apart feom the end of Hockey season, Baseball is already on, not sure where the Redsox are at, but I'll be checking soon. I really want to enjoy this summer, we had a long winter, and as it is, we still get rain off and on, nothing like the summer days of California, oh the memmories, lots of nice ones! Happy Star Wars Day!!
May The Fourth Be With You! Are you a Star Wars fan? We are here in this house. Loved the films, don't have favorite, but I thought my inner geek would come out for a little while hehe. Today has been a beautiful day! My hunny had to work. He works a lot I have to say. It's good and not so good. Just means he is not with me, and we are not out and about. I'm hoping we take a mini holiday this summmer *fingers crossed* :) He has mentioned Maine before. I've never been there, so it would be a lot of fun. Get away for a weekend or even a week? Well okay maybe a week is much, but a weekend would do him a world of good, he really does work a lot. Happy May Day Ya’ll
What a way to start the month of May, with beautiful weather, it hit 70 at one point today, which is absolutely fantastic, I'm actually wearing a sleeveless top yay! I hope to see many more awesome days like today. So what have I been doing, well I have been recording a few videos for my YouTube channel, and just trying to get things sorted in my hobby/craft/nail room. I'm not getting anywhere to be honest. I have managed to sort my glitter mixes, I received from other glitter loving ladies, so at least they aren't just sitting in a bag, all mixed up. I got them sorted according to color, and another separate section for Holiday mixes. Ok so moving on from that, I also did my monthly subscription for Glossybox, I know I initially said I would post it each month, and I didn't so I apologise for that. So I will now. Happy Earth Day 2013
So it's here it again, Happy Earth Day everyone. What do you plan to do today to honor Mother Earth? Well I won't be driving for one, as for meats, not sure, we'll see what is for dinner hehe. Use less water, so many things everyone can do, it doesn't take much! So let me give you a few from a couple of websites. Over at EarthDay.Org they are putting together a huge mosaic of anyone who wants to get involved, all you have to do is, upload a photo of yourself with a sign saying 'The Face of Climate Change', and it will be added to the mosaic, pretty simple I think. I look like a hot mess so I may not do it, then again maybe I will hehe. How about you? I Love Boston!
I sat here for a few seconds, thinking of what to title this. I mean so much has happened in the past few days, I don't know where to start. It's just all horrible, sad, depressing, scary, so many emotions going through oneself. Just today, there has been bomb threats, two I believe, turned out to be false. Still people are on the edge of their seats. What to think, what to do. I know life must go on. Speaking of so, my hunny was due to go into Boston the day or the Marathon for a meeting, but since it was going to be the marathon, they choose to put it off another day, then Tuesday came, and there was still a lot going on in Boston, that they put it off until today. I'm happy to say he is home with me, had his meeting earlier in the day, he texted me let me know he was going into Boston, and then after he left. So I felt a lot better. I Continue Reading
