It came so quick, I wasn't even thinking. My birthday week really should have started Monday, but since Monday was still November, it didn't feel like it much. Now that it is December 1st, it does lol, even though it is only 3 days away, wow right? So much for a weeks worth of birthday stuff haha. I know a few people that have a birthday this week, well this month actually. I told a Facebook friend, I should change it to birthday month but that is getting to be too much. By the time we are into the 3rd week of December, no one is thinking birthdays anymore, it is all about Christmas :) Speaking of this year we are going to Boston I think for Christmas dinner, which won't be on Christmas it will be like the week before, we have been doing that for a few years now. Someone hosts it at their house. We don't live in a house, just a Continue Reading
Are you stuffed? Want more? Lol Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh my gosh, we had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Although I really miss my family, and I know they are all with loved ones. Well except for my oldest brother which I am pretty sure he and my father went to my middle brothers house for Thanksgiving. I don't like knowing any of them spent it alone. As for my sister, she spend it with her partner, and I with my honey! On Williams side of the family, his mom was at home, as she had to work the first shift for the crazy Black Friday sales, yikes, but went home about 9 am so I am sure she is resting up. Will have to save her a nice plate of Thanksgiving dinner. Last and never the least is my mother, even though she is not with us, she is in spirit. Oh how I wished she would of sat at the table to have dinner with me and William. *Sigh* :( Moving on to happier things, check out the Turkey my honey Continue Reading
Happy Mother’s Day – Missing My Mom ~ I Love You!
How fast does time go by, gosh I feel I am always saying that. Well let's not make this post too sad, but I wanted to wish all the Moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day and everyone who has stepping in to be a mother to someone that does not have one, you are all blessings. I lost my mother some time ago, and this day is always sad, as I do not have children, except for my pets, so I don't know what it feels like to be a mother. I am sure it is the most amazing feeling. I just want to remember my mother on this day, celebrate it with a happy heart, and wish everyone says they love their mother, even if they are on bad terms, I know it is easier said than done, but try at least, one day you may regret it. Find forgiveness in your heart. Ok enough of that now. Enjoy your day. Mom I love you, I am always thinking of you, so many Continue Reading
Happy Gobble Gobble Day!
Oh my, it's that time again. Wow how time flies, it was just Summer. Surprisingly I wasn't looking forward to Winter yet!! I love the snow but wanted a bit more warm weather. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you are spending it with loved ones, enjoy the festivities! I'm thankful for having a loving family, even though we aren't the closest right now, they are always in my thoughts and my heart. I hope to visit them in the coming year if God permits. As a matter of fact, I spoke with my oldest brother Eric and my dad yesterday, we said our Happy Thanksgiving messages, and my dad asked me if I had forgotten him, I said no never, even if we don't talk, you are always in my mind and heart and I love you. He recently had cancer, but is better now, still weak but doing good, my older brother is there to take care Continue Reading
