Beating The Bug

November 6, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So for over a week, I have had this cold, it's been kicking my ass, but I think I finally have beat the bug. Well apart from the coughing that I seem to can't shake, this cold it just about gone. Oh I'm so happy. I sometimes feel like it wants to return, but I continue to fight it, and take medicines, and everything possible to shake it. I certainly don't want to get it again this winter, and I don't want William to get it, thank goodness he hasn't caught it. He's such a baby when he gets sick (hope he don't see this lol) but then again, most men are babies when they get sick! Ok so tonight we baked some lovely sugar cookies, and brownies, well I helped with them, William loves to cook and bake, that is my guy right there! Amazing hey? I got the picture on twitter let me grab and insert! So yummy, I don't have a picture of the Continue Reading

Awesome Adirondack Camp

November 6, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I can remember back when I was a kid and went camping, how exciting it sounded, and how much I wanted to go, but at the same time I thought about being away from my parents, and missing them terribly. Well soon after arriving at the campgrounds, everyone made it so incredibly amazing and fun, that I soon forgot (not forever though) about missing my family. I enjoyed my time there so much, I wanted to return every year. So of course having those wonderful experiences, made me think of how my kids would love to go and have a wonderful, no an absolutely awesome experience as I did. There are some really great camp grounds in New York to send your kids too, I would definitely consider Adirondack Camp, they have so many great activities, by the way, even some I didn't get a chance to do, that I would love to do now hehe. Such as, rock Continue Reading

Surprise? Not Really!

October 10, 2011 by Leave a Comment

I talked to my oldest brother today Eric, and he told me my dad got remarried, I was shocked to be honest. But in some ways happy to know that he is not alone, because who wants to be alone for the rest of their lives? No one does honestly, do you? Anyway, I was a bit hurt that I didn’t at least know about it, even if I couldn’t go. Oh well, it’s nothing new to be the last to know. They were married 4 months ago. I’m sure my sister doesn’t know either, I have to let her know about the news as well. So we had a nice long chat. I’m glad to see that they are doing all well. I got a lot of information about everyone, so it’s nice to know. I haven’t looked at photos my brother sent me of my father’s wedding, I am looking forward to seeing them. Anyway enough about that. William has Monday off, yay. His work didn’t give it off, but he took a Continue Reading

Super Pooped

Omg we went on a shopping trip to Target, yes I love shopping there, always get great deals, saved like $40, which is fantastic, if you use a combination of coupons, Target and Manufacturer, no we are not extreme shoppers, but we will save where we can, and I try to almost always use coupons when I go shopping, for everything even clothing, heck I even got a coupon for $2 off a pair of jeans for Women or Men, that's pretty cool! And to top that off, find things on sale or clearance, woohoo go us!! We also popped into Walgreens and CVS for a few little items, but the biggest shop was Target, I am so pooped! Oh I am so happy, my collective has finally been moved yay. I don't have a layout put up yet, but I will try to be working on that ASAP, as I want to move the rest of my listing, I had only done my fan listing, but now I have name Continue Reading

Best FSU Football Tickets

July 17, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So it's getting so close to football season making a return, well not so close, but close enough you may want to jump in and grab some tickets before they are all gone. Professional and college alike! We are big football fans here in this household, so if we want to get good seats, it's best to be an early bird, then get left in the dust, and not get any tickets. College football seems pretty popular, if not as popular as professional. So if you are looking for awesome FSU football tickets, I would highly recommend Seminoles.com you can buy tickets for everything, from football, basketball, baseball to softball, volleyball and even golf, that's right, and that's not all either. There is plenty more sports! It's pretty exciting, thinking about going to a football game. Gosh the atmosphere is amazing. Being around a bunch of people full Continue Reading
