Day 3 of AtoZ Challenge, todays letter is C, for Clash of the Titans, this by far was one of my favorite films of this genre, my 2nd favorite would be Thor, but this definitely lived up to its expectations. I walked away thinking, wow I really liked that film, when I didn't think I would! Ever since 300 came out, I began to like these type of films, and they are just coming out left and right now lol. But this is by far my favorite! So what is Clash of the Titans about?? It's a 2010 remake of the 1981 film of the same name, yeah they did remake it, but much better! Here we go with the A to Z Challenge, what am I picking for today? B is for Bad Teacher, we all need a little comedy in our life, well I found a great film, which is super funny because I just love Cameron Diaz!! Right?? She is not only adorable but funny! She plays it well in this film. So what is this film about? Gold digger Elizabeth Halsey (played by Cameron Diaz) returns to middle school, after her wealthy fiancé breaks it off. She's an awful teacher but wants to save for breast-implant surgery. A new teacher, Scott (played by Justin Timberlake), who turns out to be rich, joins the staff at the school, she perks up right away. She stops showing films and sleeping in class when she is told there's a bonus for the teacher whose class scores highest on the state exam. Okay so this is the beginning of the A to Z Challenge I spoke about yesterday. I had been debating about what I wanted to do as a theme, as I read around, and see what others were doing, I came back to the same idea, and that was to go with the theme idea, instead of going random. Which is how I was going to start, but then I thought I love films, and would love to share some I have watched, and look forward to watching. Gun Toting Dad Responds To Daughter Via Facebook!
I was watching the Today show this morning, and they had a segment on a father (Tommy Jordan) who replied to his daughter (Hannah's) post on Facebook in a very shocking way 'Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen!' Wow go Daddy! Apparently the daughter posted some very harsh things on Facebook about the way parents treat her. Thinking that that they wouldn't see it by blocking them. Oh boy was she wrong! The father is computer saavy, works in IT, so naturally he was going to find it, especially because a few months earlier she had done the exact same thing. It's an 8 minute video the father made in reply to his daughters post on facebook, here is the video, see for yourself. Warm Up
Today has been cold all day, I think Fall is finally here. Summer was short and weird to say the least, I will miss it. So William had to go see a client, and he's out late today, I miss him, I want a cuddle lol. I know he'll be home soon. I hope he drives carefully. We had installers come in today, they were installing additional fire alarms, wow they really went over the top, there is on in each bedroom, what looks like 2 in the hall, and one at the bottom of the stairs, wow that is a lot, but hey no reason to say we didn't hear it hehe. Better safe than sorry I say! Oh yay he's on his way home. There are so many new shows coming on this month and next month, I know I talked about it before, but this one show called Once Upon a Time, looks pretty good.
