30 Days of Truth: Day 2

November 29, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So today is day 2, question is 'Something you love about yourself'. Ok well again like the last question there are a few things I can think of, but one that really seems to stand out in my mind is friendship. How I know that I am a good friend, once a person let's me into their life. The problem with that was that, when I gave, the other person gave to a point, and then I get back stabbed, with that happening frequently I decided to not give as much, or at least too overly cautious, it was hard for me to trust, but when I did, I was and am the best friend anyone can ever want or have. Day 2: Something You Love About Yourself. I have the best friend I could ever want in my life, William, I tell him everything, I know we don't disclose all our little secrets we have thrown and hidden in the dusty closet, but close enough. And I Continue Reading

Awesome Adirondack Camp

November 6, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I can remember back when I was a kid and went camping, how exciting it sounded, and how much I wanted to go, but at the same time I thought about being away from my parents, and missing them terribly. Well soon after arriving at the campgrounds, everyone made it so incredibly amazing and fun, that I soon forgot (not forever though) about missing my family. I enjoyed my time there so much, I wanted to return every year. So of course having those wonderful experiences, made me think of how my kids would love to go and have a wonderful, no an absolutely awesome experience as I did. There are some really great camp grounds in New York to send your kids too, I would definitely consider Adirondack Camp, they have so many great activities, by the way, even some I didn't get a chance to do, that I would love to do now hehe. Such as, rock Continue Reading

So Much Goodness #Food #BAD11

October 16, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Here we are again, another Blog Action Day, this years topic is food! Oh my goodness, there are so many deliciously enticing foods. But I think about the topic a little deeper, and why does guilt set in? I don't know, wait I do know. Because I start to think about all those countries with people that wish they would have just one bite of what tonight's dinner would be. Is it normal to feel guilty? I'm going to say yes, I think anyone that is writing a BAD post is going to think about how I just felt. I don't want this to really be a sad blog, so let's keep it a bit light. I have experienced so many good foods like the Tupelo Honey for Sale, Guatemalan food, so delicious, especially the tamales, oh goodness me. so yummy goodness, and the smaller Mexican flavored tamales also so delicious. I spend a few years in England, and got to Continue Reading

Amazing Alexandria Virginia Condos

July 17, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I love where we live, don't get me wrong, well I guess there could be a few things I would change. Never mind that though. I think I would go to a condo next, speaking of condos hehe. I tend to look around, and debate on where I'd like to live, heck I've even considered moving out of state, just to beat this humidity lol. I though "condos!" lol, and I also thought 'Virginia', I found some gorgeous condos, with amazing amenities. They have their very own park lol. Yeah do you have a dog? Would you like to take your dog for a walk in the park? Well let me tell you Alexandria Virginia condos are the place to take into serious consideration. Do you work in Washington D.C., this is the place you would really want to be living, ideal for those that work in Washington D.C. These are so brand new that construction has begun for The Isabella at Continue Reading
