Holidays Roll In

November 17, 2011 by Emily 2 Comments

Looks like it's finally that time of the year, when the Holidays roll in and just pop up one after another. Are you ready? I'm not sure if I am. I think I am. I've gotten a head start on getting Williams Christmas gifts so I'm happy with that, his birthday passed in October so that is taken care of. First is Thanksgiving, we aren't making our own, we're going to his Uncles/Aunts house for Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been there, so it'll be a new experience for me. My first year here in MA, I spent at home with William, we made our own lovely Thanksgiving dinner, I enjoyed that very much. The second year, we spent at his Mothers, and this year will be at his Uncle/Aunts, so it's been pretty fun. I still feel like an outsider, but that's just me. He had a nice family. I don't see them much except for Holidays, so it's always nice Continue Reading

Beautiful Day Out

We had a shopping trip today to Target, but we decided to check Walmart to see if the prices were less for what we were looking for and they were. I have to blame myself for breaking our portable heater, last year I got zapped (static electricity) and the off function wouldn't work anymore. So we resorted to unplugging and plugging in, I know that probably could of been dangerous but thank the Lord that it hadn't caused a fire or anything. Seems like I really attract static electricity. I have long hair down to my bum, the air is dry so my hair tends to grab on the the static for some reason, plus if I don't lotion myself up, my hands will get static, and well we know some clothing will grab on to static as well. Ugh what a pain, I love the Fall/Winter here, but I can do without the constant zapping due to static electricity, I'm not Continue Reading

Awesome Adirondack Camp

November 6, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I can remember back when I was a kid and went camping, how exciting it sounded, and how much I wanted to go, but at the same time I thought about being away from my parents, and missing them terribly. Well soon after arriving at the campgrounds, everyone made it so incredibly amazing and fun, that I soon forgot (not forever though) about missing my family. I enjoyed my time there so much, I wanted to return every year. So of course having those wonderful experiences, made me think of how my kids would love to go and have a wonderful, no an absolutely awesome experience as I did. There are some really great camp grounds in New York to send your kids too, I would definitely consider Adirondack Camp, they have so many great activities, by the way, even some I didn't get a chance to do, that I would love to do now hehe. Such as, rock Continue Reading

They Are Scarce

October 29, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I couldn't find a cute or cool theme for Halloween, this is the best I could do, I didn't have much time to really check. And I'm not feeling well so I thought I would just try to fix this up, as it will only be up for a few more day, then it comes down. But I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. Be safe out there. We did some shopping today, yeah ran to a few stores an what not. Really upset with Walmart as they didn't have the pull type of laundry hampers, the one I have I bought there when I moved to MA, and now they don't have any *shocked* seriously I was WTF!!! So we were passing Kmart, and I asked William would you mind? He said sure, and again NOTHING how much does that piss me off GRRR!!! If it was going to be like this, I would of done all my shopping at Target, we had passed like 2 of them too, AHH I'm so mad Continue Reading

What? Flurries? Srsly?

October 28, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So I'm a bit sick, and I decided to do laundry last night, because I knew I was not going to want to do it early today. The reason why I say is because I felt that I would feel sicker, and well I did. Anyway just glad I got it done. So today feeling ill I didn't feel like doing much. I really do think I should close the window in this room, it's only open a few inches, so it shouldn't be that bad, I keep it open just to keep some fresh air coming in here. Anyway as I was saying, after laundry last night. William was outside and he called me out to the door. He said, 'look up at the light post' so I did, and he's like 'are those flurries?' I'm like no it's just rain, and not even a few seconds after that, did I start to see flurries, WOW. It's not even Halloween yet, and we got flurries. Oh and earlier today, on twitter, they showed Continue Reading
