Happy Memorial Day everyone! Well here we are, another one passing us. I want to thank all those who have served and are serving to keep us free and safe. Without you, who knows what our great nation would be like. I won't get into what can be done to make things better, this isn't the time for it. It is a time for remembering and honoring our heros. Today we had a nice BBQ just me and my awesome honey, William. It was a very nice day. During the day I was working on my mani, up until it was time to have our meal. Then we enjoyed each other's company and watched some TV. Over the weekend we went and did a bit of shopping, it was a really nice weekend, it was so nice to be able to have some sun, I am hoping for a lot more during this Spring/Summer season. So I feel like I have been waiting for Spring to come along for ages now. I love the Snow, but wow I actually got tired of it. I won't lie, each time it snowed I got all giddy because it was snowing lol. And even though I was enjoying it. I was longing for warm weather, So I am anxiously waiting for Spring. For some reason, out here in the East (Massachusetts), we don't get much of a Spring. Sometimes it feels as if it skips part of it, and we go straight into Summer and the humid weather. I would love, oh so love, some nice weather. Sunny days, warm breeze outside, clear skies. That is what I'd like. What I will get, well .... That is another story hehe. Winter Has Been Way Too Long
I am ready for Spring, Lord knows my honey is so ready for it too. We here in Massachusetts have been hit with so much snow, it literally probably won't all melt away until June, yes that much. Now for a California girl like myself, I am loving the snow, since California doesn't really get snow like it does here, I am still loving looking at it and all. But I am ready for some warm temperatures, and ready to wear my black mule heels! Aside from that I had been MIA for awhile, have had so much going on, that I just didn't have time to blog, honestly that is no excuse, I like blogging, and need to keep it up. Happy July! Summer is Here, Yay!
It's finally here, summer! We have been waiting for a what seems like a long time, to finally get that awesome summer weather. I am so so happy. No more being cold, although it will get humid, and I'll have just one more thing to complain about lol :P Our 5th anniversary is coming up in a few days, gosh I can't believe it's been 5 years already, and we aren't even married, but we are engaged, I told that story already :) But it is exciting to see how long we've been together, and how strong our relationship still it, at least it appears like that to me. And I think to him as well. I hope he is happy, I'm sure things aren't 100% perfect, but I think I make him happy, and that is what really counts in the end. Hello February 2014!!~
I know it's the 4th, but better late than never, and I just wanted to say hello to the new month. So we had snow last night, it's so very typical here in Mass to get snow in February. I absolutely love the snow, and it looked beautiful last night, the trees looked so pretty with snow on them. I will have to add a photo so you can see how pretty they are. I'm charging my phone at the moment, but I will show you them. It reminds me of Christmas, how the trees have just enough snow on the branches and just look so pretty. That snowfall was one storm we had, we are expecting another storm supposedly on Wednesday, but I am looking at the blinds and I see lovely sunlight coming out, so not sure if that storm will hit.
