Remember Those That Served – Thank you!

November 11, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Veteran's Day

Thank you so very much! To each and every person , man or woman, who has served, is serving and will serve to protect us. Thank you so much for putting your life before ours, for keeping us safe, keeping the children of the future safe. I don't think it is ever possible to tell you enough thank you's. So many people do not realise what you all have done to keep us safe. Many will learn and respect you in time. I'd like to thank my two brothers, Eric and Omar, who served in the Air Force and Navy, respectively, thank you for serving. I love and miss you guys. I think the younger generations are beginning to understand more and more what these men and women have done for us all. If you are out and about and see a veteran, thank them, don't wait for Veterans day to thank them. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be Continue Reading

I Lost My Mojo, WTF?!

November 5, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I think I really did! Well at least that is how it seemed recently. I was putting out videos often, then something happened (not saying what), plus I got ill, and then the passion flew out the window, but that thing that I'm not telling is really what took away the drive I had. Then it all just started crumbling down. It happens I know, and I need to be able to pick myself up and continue on. I was emotionally hurt for awhile, and I don't think these people know how much, I don't think they ever will. I am way over sensitive though. Time to move on. For those loyal secret readers I know I have out there. As you know, I had been posting about monthly subscriptions I would get. That is at a dead stop, no lie! During the time I got ill, I had to update my payment information, I didn't so of course the shipments stopped. Now that I look Continue Reading

Review: MicroTouch SwitchBlade

November 3, 2013 by Emily 1 Comment

I had high hopes for this MicroTouch SwitchBlade, but I was disappointed. William has always had short hair, I cut his hair on a regular basis, and I know what works and doesn't. He does tidy up on parts I may over look. Having a good trimmer to touch up is essential. I broke his last razor by accident, so I had to replace it. I first seen the advertisement on TV for this product and thought 'hmm' maybe I could get him this for his birthday. I held off and bought him something else because I wasn't sure. I was going to look around for reviews, but then by sheer luck. I come across a chance to try this for free!! Of course you know I was all over that. PROS - I love that it has the ears & nose blade, that comes useful as you get older, I tried the nose one hehe. It worked perfectly, even though we had a nose hair trimmer already, Continue Reading

We Are Engaged!!!

October 29, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Can you believe it? I know a lot of people I know are thinking "Finally"! I don't blame them, it's me being picky, or just unlucky, I choose the first *wink*. Those who know me, read my blog posts, or know me IRL, know who my Hunny is, my wonderful absolutely amazing William!! On October 22, 2014, at about 6 pm EST, he came home, opened up a box, and asked me "Will you marry me in an outdoor wedding?" I of course said YES!!!! We had talked about it, and we had looked at wood rings, so it was a matter of time. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way, his way, his personality, nothing made up all original. He has always been a funny guy, and the only guy in the world that has made me laugh every day of my life that I have been with him, he's the only one that has ever really made me laugh to the point of tearing up. And The Weather Says …

Sunny Day In The Fall

It's going to be warmer than usual today and tomorrow, and a bit humid over the weekend, I suppose I am okay with that. I am not crazy about the humid weather, but because we will have a lot of cold coming soon, this is really nice to see and feel. I mean right now, the sun is bursting through my window, I have the blinds closed, but it's gorgeous. I had to quickly snap a picture with my phone, that doesn't even really show how lovely it looks as the sun comes through the blinds. I will be missing spring and summer, and looking forward to next years nice weather. So pretty, the next few days will be nice, maybe even BBQ weather, yay! William is always looking to do a little BBQing, so you never know. He said he may take Friday off, as we are looking at vehicles, he wants to get rid of his gas guzzling truck. I don't blame him either, Continue Reading
