Feels Like A Sauna

June 28, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

Omgosh seriously it's brutal out there today. I knew it would be. It's not so much 'hot' it's bloody humid like gosh I remember one day last year, was just like this. It felt like you cannot breath. That's scary, seriously scary! Anyway I am dealing with it as best I can, this room has no a/c, the other room does. I have that running so that I get a bit of relief. A standing fan would do just the trick, pull some of that cool air into this room. I have the window open but that really don't help much, maybe an occasional burst of air comes through the window, hot air lol. Who wants that? I attempted to write my blog like 3 times lol. And each time damn interruptions. Anyway, my friend Alice is here from England, I'm happy to see here, she was here a few days, right now she is off in Manhattan, NY going to see a few friends, than Continue Reading

Finally Done!

June 3, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

Well after about 5 days worth of moving stuff and tossing what wasn't needed we are finally done and finished with that bit of it. Ok well not 100% but I would say 99.7% is that close enough? hehe. Yeah still have some stuff to clear out in the basement, and shed in the back yard. Gosh it's unbelievable how much a person can accumulate after a long period of time. Even 4 short years, you can find yourself in a mountain of things, and what's funnier is, you forget about some, and go out and buy more of it haha. That ever happen to you? The hardest part is over, so I'm glad about that, and I'm sure William is too! Oh I was talking to my friend Alice, and she is going to be visiting, so I'm really looking forward to that, I have missed her, and it would be nice to catch up, and get a hug! I don't know if we'll do any real sight seeing, as Continue Reading

TGIF!

May 14, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

Finally the weekend is here, no real big plans, but you never know what can come up. The weekend should bring some nice weather. The week has been cloudy mostly, so *fingers crossed* for some nice sunny weather. Maybe even get out and mow the lawn, it's getting to be a jungle back there hehe. But want to make sure we don't get drenched while trying to mow hehe. Who am I kidding? I'm not the one that would be mowing but I'm just saying. Yesterday I missed the postman because my laptop is upstairs, it's where I do my work. So naturally I didn't hear him, he couldn't really knock on the door either, as the screen door was locked, and the doorbell decided to take a shit hehe. So they left their little paper, saying they would re-deliver, which I am fine with that. But now that means I need to stay downstairs, so that I can answer the door. Continue Reading

Did You Get Pinched?

March 17, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

Is anyone going to have a green beer today? I am *raises hand* hehe. I have never had a green beer, I know it' silly, and it's probably just food coloring in it, but it's still fun because its St. Patrick's Day, so today I will have a beer or two. And since I have William around me which is part Irish how better can it get, okay maybe if my friend Alice was around too that would rock, as she is full blooded Irish! Even my coffee cup is green today. Gosh do you remember as a kid in school, if you didn't wear anything green you got pinched? Lmao omgosh I remember that so clearly, there were a few years I'd forget to wear green and I'd get pinched, then I would turn around and say look at my eyes you fool they are green hehe. Well they were then, now they are more hazelish green. It was still funny. Where did that come from the pinching if Continue Reading

Netflix Rocks~

January 25, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

It really does, rock that is! I mean we can even use PS3 to be able to watch films or TV shows from Netflix, it's just so awesome. We are catching up with LOST, and a few other shows. I can't brag enough about it. I'm sure there are a lot of people that agree with me. So the weekend is almost over, dinner is in the oven and I am getting hungry. We haven't rearranged the living room and the other room yet. We talked about it this weekend. The main desktop computer is the one that is connected to the router and all. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a wireless card, so I am searching around for the best place to get one. So that when we do move the stuff, basically switch the rooms, the router can stay in this room and the computer area can be moved to the other room. Gosh sounds complicated it doesn't it? It really isn't though. It's Continue Reading
