Two Days Til My Birthday, Yay!!

December 2, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I am truly an old fart, officially in two days lol. No I'm kidding, 50 is the new 40 :P didn't you know? kay so enough of that. I have been so very busy lately, haven't you noticed my lack of posts? Yeah my new years resolutions are two, I am managing to keep last years. So they are as follows: 1) Better organise my hobby room, it is a mess. 2) Try to manage my time to accomplish almost everything, blogging is what I speak of. I am also behind on my diet blog, thankfully I take photos of weigh-ins yay go me. I am happy that I have been able to achieve my goal, sort of, I won't be hitting the Target, but at least I am on the right road, which makes me very happy. Want to know more about that, feel free to contact me, and I will send you the link :) So apart from that, what else is going on? Well I lost my lovely fish, Continue Reading

Weigh-in #23 – Doing good!

September 20, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

Yesterday, we went to William's family house in Boston for a triple birthday party, so this was a test of not eating too much and being picky about what I was going to have. Since they ordered pizza and a cold cuts tray to make sandwiches, I had to estimate. I did not add mayonnaise as it was too high in calories, but I did add mustard which was zero. About 2 slices of two different types of sandwich meats, and a slice of cheese (Swiss), and finally 2-4 tablespoons of coleslaw. I had a cup of coffee black with some sweet n’ low, and later a decaf Diet Coke. I think I did okay, breakfast was at Dunkin Donuts, so I know how many calories I had, as it is not the first time I’ve had their awesome turkey bacon breakfast croissants, so good!!! 390 calories though, and an iced coffee, slim milk, and sweet n’ low. So not bad, and for dinner, a Continue Reading

Dieting and Me!

My Fitness Pal

I was not one to ever stick to a diet, when I was younger, my mom tried things, but I wasn't happy with them, and/or I just didn't have the will power. So why now you must ask? I honestly should of did this a very long time ago, when I didn't get as overweight as I did. I'm ashamed about that, but you know - it is, what it is! I can't complain, cry, bitch or even blame anyone but myself. So I hold myself responsible. So why now? Well I'm overweight, and I need to put an end to it. My boyfriend loved me as a big girl, still does and is 100% supportive, my sister is proud of me, and above all. I am proud of myself. I will spare details really. But I am not taking anything special, or going to a dietician, or anything like that. I just decided to see how many calories I am suppose to be consuming. I really didn't know where to go, so I Continue Reading

Happy Birthday To Me!

December 4, 2013 by Emily 1 Comment

Yay, it's my birthday, again LOL. So most of the day today, well almost all of it, I spent alone, don't feel bad for me. I don't know many people where I live, really I don't know anyone. I have awesome online friends, wish they all lived near me because we'd be hanging out :) But I did get to spend it with Daisy, which by the way I had to shut to the computer room, as she is biting on my laptop cable. I'm not using the laptop, but she was biting on it and it is plugged in. Too scary, hate to see her get electrocuted, God forbid. Anyway, so we have been spending the day together, it's been nice and quiet. The only visitor I got today was by the monthly monster, of all days my birthday really? Ugh, hate it. Anyway, this is a quick post, to wish me a happy birthday, and to thank those awesome people that remembered me on this one Continue Reading

Happy Gobble Gobble Day!

November 28, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Oh my, it's that time again. Wow how time flies, it was just Summer. Surprisingly I wasn't looking forward to Winter yet!! I love the snow but wanted a bit more warm weather. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you are spending it with loved ones, enjoy the festivities! I'm thankful for having a loving family, even though we aren't the closest right now, they are always in my thoughts and my heart. I hope to visit them in the coming year if God permits. As a matter of fact, I spoke with my oldest brother Eric and my dad yesterday, we said our Happy Thanksgiving messages, and my dad asked me if I had forgotten him, I said no never, even if we don't talk, you are always in my mind and heart and I love you. He recently had cancer, but is better now, still weak but doing good, my older brother is there to take care Continue Reading
