Now how often do we get to say that? Every 4 years! Four years ago, I didn't blog on Leap Day, I'm going to make a point that I do, so this is my very first Leap Year day I post on, yay! I'm a member of GetGlue, it's a fun social network website, that I find myself drawn to not only online but on my phone or iPod, I admit it, it does get a little addicting but I can't help it. Anyway, today GetGlue gave all its members (permitting they check into said topic) a Leap Year Day sticker, although it's only an image online, they actually send you it in real life, I think that's why it's attracting so many people, especially collectors of stickers. I Am Back, And Blogging!
Server moves are such a pain in the ass, especially if they don't go according to plan. There are times things just happen, and it happened to me. I was so upset because at one point I thought I lost all my blog posts for the past 5 years. I blog a lot more these days, than I did when I first started. While I was in England I didn't blog, I actually closed my blog for awhile, because my ex didn't like me wasting my time online? Isn't that something? So for about a year or two it stayed closed. I kept it because I liked the name, and knew one day I would reopen it. After leaving England coming back to the US, I did reopen, and started once again to get where I was before. You Don’t Need A Man Or Woman!!
Happy Valentine's Day! That's right it's a Valentine's Day post. But more importantly are those 6-7 words in my title! You really don't need to have a man or a woman in your life, to have a great Valentine's day. There are so many ways to spread love, with friends, other family members, and yes even strangers!! A random act of kindness goes a long way. You can do some blog hopping, and stumble upon someones blog and leave them a super cool comment, that will make their day. You may not know if you did, but what if you did? Wouldn't that be amazing? A good feeling I would think. If someones blog is one of those 'I hate Valentine's Day', 'It just another day', 'We don't celebrate it', 'I am single today', etc. Well maybe a nice comment can make that person feel a lot better. Love Is In The Air, Or Is It?!
It's February, that means you will see everything and anything that has to do with Valentine's, I know some over do it, but some look so forward to this day, only to be disappointed if it doesn't come out as they'd hoped. And that is exactly why you shouldn't expect to much. I feel it's better that you don't so that you aren't disappointed in the end. The last thing one wants is a constant reminder of how bad Valentine's went for them. So I am not going to expect much, but hugs and kisses from my one and only William! As long as he is in my life, I am happy :) What really gets to me is when I start seeing blogs or twitter posts of people that absolutely hate Valentine's. 30 Days of Truth: Day 2
So today is day 2, question is 'Something you love about yourself'. Ok well again like the last question there are a few things I can think of, but one that really seems to stand out in my mind is friendship. How I know that I am a good friend, once a person let's me into their life. The problem with that was that, when I gave, the other person gave to a point, and then I get back stabbed, with that happening frequently I decided to not give as much, or at least too overly cautious, it was hard for me to trust, but when I did, I was and am the best friend anyone can ever want or have.
