It's President's Day, does anyone work? Well obviously some people work or everything would be closed today. I don't remember if they close the Post office today, hmm. I needed to send off two packages, ebay returns lol. It's hard to tell sizes, because everyone isn't the same really. I bought one blouse for one seller, it was about half a size too small, but still was ok. So then I bought another blouse from another seller, and thought I'd go to the next size and it would fit just right, but it turned out to be too huge lol, so I'm exchanging for smaller sizes. Same with the jeans, gosh it's hard to pin point what size for what brand, well that has been my experience anyway. Lucky or Unlucky?
It was too, the weather wasn't too bad we mostly had flurries, and no heavy snow like other parts of the east coast, some got close to 3 feet, wow huh? Yeah, I was hoping we would get that, but nope nothing for us, are we lucky or unlucky? I guess it depends on the person. This weekend, we watched 4 films, wow huh? Busy we were. We saw, 9, Babylon A.D., Population 436, and Gamer, out of all 4, I have to say that I enjoyed Gamer and 9 the most. Population 436 was so slow. I'm so happy, I installed a few wordpress plug-ins in my other domains, and they work perfectly. I got new smilies, in my blogs and my comments, yay, and a new one for embedding videos, their centered now yay. Sick People Out There
Today I was basically very lazy lol. Usually, I'm up and doing things, but today, I was up early but after William left for work, I didn't feel like getting on the laptop, so I surfed Netflix to watch something. I came across this film called Snuff: A Documentary about killing on camera. What is snuff, exactly what that title says, some sick people out there, that film real-life people being killed, and send out the films for profit? I don't know why I watched it, it wasn't a snuff film, but a documentary. I believe there are sick people out there that really do that kind of stuff. I really really hope I am wrong. Outrageous Prices!!
When I look out the window it looks like it can be spring, but if you step out you can feel the cold chill in the air, and the lawns with snow still on them, and then you remember, 'Hey it's still winter'! I think we are halfway through winter. I'm actually hoping for another blizzard is that so wrong of me? lol. I took about an hour off from writing this blog, I was looking for a food steamer, similar to one I used when I was in England, and OMGOSH it's hard to find here in the states. I found electric ones, and the stainless steel or aluminum ones were expensive, well actually the stainless steel ones are, I won't even talk about the shipping. And on Ebay the shipping is higher than on Amazon. So I found a nice aluminum one on Amazon and got that, which makes steaming vegetables much easier. I'll post a picture of it. Ebay Rocks!
I've recently spent a lot of time on ebay shopping lol, and they have so much good stuff, although trying to outbid someone else to get what you want can be frustrating, especially if your ISP is slow, we have Verizon and it's okay, we are looking into getting FIOS, which will make things even faster ;) I've picked up a lot of good things for Christmas presents, there will be happy faces! Wow I started this post like 2 hours ago, and it sat here and I forgot about it, bad me lol. There isn't really much to talk about, just that you know doing the Christmas thing, getting ready for all that. Come Dec 20th we are off to Williams sisters house, for a family Christmas dinner, how nice I'm invited :D but I haven't a thing to wear, which bums me out!
