Sixteen Days

January 17, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

A whole sixteen days since I posted a blog. WOW!! That was quick! Is it only me, or does the time go by pretty quickly? Seems like it does to me. Why is it that when we were young, it seemed like time dragged on, and now as an adult, it goes way too fast?  I suppose that is just the way it is. This post was imported from my other closed-down domain. I was watching Daisy today, and she was actually trying to get into the kleenex box she got into and fell asleep in when she was smaller, let me show you the picture when she was just an itty bitty baby, okay it was only a month ago, but still, she is too adorable. And then just today, as I mentioned, she tried getting in it again. I had to snap some pictures, because it was just happening, had to get it. This was a series of pictures, with a cool song attached, as you can see Continue Reading

What A Way To Start The Year!

Got a cold

We are well into the new year now, and what happens, like so many others, I get a cold! Yuck, stuffy nose, running nose, sneezing, coughing. The worst is at night while sleeping and your nose plugs up, and you have to breathe from your mouth, you get cotton mouth. I slept terribly. Plus when I did breathe a bit through a nostril, my nose started to hurt, I don't know why, it just did. So back to breathing from my mouth, ugh, I hate it. To top if off, the monthly monster had to come right when I catch this cold. William gave me it, and I think I just gave it back to him. I hope not. He told me, take the Vicks Sinex, it works. I refused last night, but today I used it. I'm up and around and don't stay stuffed up as often, the true test will be at night, which I will be using it. I should've listened to him. Throughout the day I kept Continue Reading

Hobbies ~ I have some!

October 28, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Over the years I have found things I liked, things I stick with sometimes, sometimes they go on the back burner and stay quiet for a while. Unlike blogging, that just seems to be something I like to do. It’s a therapy type of thing I guess you can say. I type for myself, not so much for others, it makes me feel good talking about things, even if I am the only reader. I know others read it, they just never say they have, statistics say they do. Which is perfectly okay with me, I tend to be shy at times too. But more often than not, I leave a comment, just so the person knows someone is listening, or reading that is. I took up web design for a while, then thought it was either I don’t have the passion for it, or I am just not creative enough, so I lost interest. Then with WordPress coming out, it all changed. I used to hard code, Continue Reading

And Here We Go Again

August 8, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Here I am again! The first time I had a blog going on here, and then what happened? I got hacked, and everything was wiped out, my host didn’t even have a backup. I was so so heartbroken. I just let this sit here. Until now. I am ready to start blogging again here. I do have another blog I have been blogging on for over 10 years, you can find that at https://www.she-says.com, you are probably asking. Why another blog? Right?? I don’t blame you, this isn’t the only blog I have. I have blogs for different reasons. I have a nail polish blog, you can imagine what that is all about. I have a crafting blog, again use your imagination. Then I have a Livejournal, which is just random stuff. And a wordpress.com blog, again another random blog. I don’t know why I keep various blogs, Perhaps I get moody and feel like blogging at a different Continue Reading

Nail Polish Rack

Okay so I was going to originally post for Easter, but things came up and I just couldn't finish. So instead I thought why not today, it's April Fool's Day, yay! How many people can you prank? I didn't prank anyone, and no one pranked me, sort of. YouTube had a silly prank going on. I got a nice chuckle out of it. As for Easter, it was nice, me and my hunny spent it together. Last year we went to his sisters/moms, and watched the kids find eggs, not this year. His mom got ill, I feel so bad for her, but we were going to cancel going over, 2 weeks prior he had gone over, and he had worked that day, and it just seemed like it's non stop for him, so in a way it worked out good. I'm sure the kids won't miss us that much :) I'm sure they had fun, since mommy has a new beau, maybe they all went egg hunting somewhere, but I am sure they had Continue Reading

Hello, I’m Emily

I am a child of God. A wife to William, a fur mommy to Daisy and Lily, and a fur mommy to my semi-feral to me girl Lilo (Tortie) and Mittens (Tuxedo) boy. My other ferals disappeared. I live in Massachusetts. I love to randomly photograph interesting things, and I enjoy blogging.
