That's right, early this morning we took Alice to the Rhode Island train station, I was a bit annoyed, not at her or anyone but at Four Square, their servers were down and I couldn't check in, BOOO!!! So I guess I'll live without it. You know I use ping.fm to twitter and I really wish they would come up with a better app, so that if I wanted to I can post pictures to twitter and such. I use seesmic now because they allow me to use my ping.fm account on it, it's much nicer to look at, compared to the one I used before. I post to other places so that's why I use ping.fm to do my tweeting. I got off track. So I walked with her to get her ticket, and gave hugs. I felt kind of sad leaving her there. Four Days & Counting
Not that it's bad, but yes 4 days until Alice returns to England, aww I'll miss her, she did a lot while being here in the US. Seen a lot of friends, went to several states. I hope one day to be able to go around Europe like that, it would be so much fun. I had a chance to go to a few places like Ireland, Spain, England, but I want to see more. Well I am being distracted again lol. It happens quite often when I am blogging. I need to run and get the laundry and then finish this post. I was just thinking how I like summers in California more than I do here in Massachusetts, they are much more humid here. But I have to deal with it as best I can. Feels Like A Sauna
Omgosh seriously it's brutal out there today. I knew it would be. It's not so much 'hot' it's bloody humid like gosh I remember one day last year, was just like this. It felt like you cannot breath. That's scary, seriously scary! Anyway I am dealing with it as best I can, this room has no a/c, the other room does. I have that running so that I get a bit of relief. A standing fan would do just the trick, pull some of that cool air into this room. I have the window open but that really don't help much, maybe an occasional burst of air comes through the window, hot air lol. Who wants that? I attempted to write my blog like 3 times lol. And each time damn interruptions. It’s Been 9 Years
Time really does go by fast, it's been 9 years since my mother passed away. Gosh how I miss her! I miss her voice, her laugh, even the way I would aggravate her, and then laugh about it. I miss her loving ways towards me. She was a very loving woman, I have such an empty space in my heart for her. When she passed away, it took me a long time to really begin to heal. We never really get over losing a loved one, but we learn to deal with it better. I have had people in my life that have been so understanding and caring about this. Then there were some that basically said "Get over it" which is really the cruelest thing to say to someone. One day they too will feel what it's like to lose a loved one. Spring Equinox 2010
Today is such a beautiful day, it don't surprise me as it is the first day of spring 2010. Spring Equinox (first day of spring 2010), it finally won't be as cold as it use to be, yay for that. That means flowers :rose: will be blooming ever so lovely all around us. I realise that there are some places that don't start their first day of spring when we do, but they will soon follow after. I'm telling you, we went out shopping for a few things, and the weather was so gorgeous it's the first time I didn't have to wear a sweater, that made me so happy :clap: I am also happy because I am finally beginning to add my bits and bobs to sell on eBay, so I am so very happy about that.
