I thought I would quickly post a Happy St. Patricks Day! I am not Irish, but my honey is part Irish, his grandmother is full blooded Irish though. I hope you all enjoy the day, please don't drink and drive. I know those green beers are so very tempting but we must exercise control :) and also, don't text and drive, not a good mix. I wanted to leave you with a quick Demo of the Sally Hansen Salon Effects video I did. Since I had not been doing anything to my nails, as they get thrashed when packing lol. I thought I would do a video of applying them. I tried not to make it too long, it was fun. The claim is they last up to 10 days, I am on my 2nd day, we will see just how long they last. We Are Moving!! Yes We Are!
How exciting is that? We are finally moving. I think I have talked about it many times, then it didn't happen, but this time it is going to happen. We are locked into a house, and we are so so very excited. After looking at so many options, and getting a lot of help. Finally we settled on one of the Essex homes, which funnily enough was one of the first options we took a look at. Not saying much more, apart from that I will be very busy packing, and the first room I am currently working on is the hobby/storage/nail/crafting room lol. Just about everything is in here, so I have a big job ahead of me. I am going to try to keep up with my YouTube videos, and blogging while I do this, but as you can see it has been awhile since I posted on my blog. Trump won, all said and done!
There you go, very simple. Trump won. I woke up at about 3 am to feed Lily and Daisy, they have strange hours and Lily will make sure we hear her lol. Got up, turned the TV on, and there it was. Trump won! Few minutes later, he came out to speak, I'm glad I got to see that live in real time. And yes we are Trump supporters. I don't need or want to debate about any politics with anyone, we are just happy with the results. All day today, all I see is negativity, and hate. Some threatening to move to Canada, I feel if that makes them happy, I wish them well. People were unfriending each other based on their political views, wow right? Come on, grow up! Not everyone is not going to have the same views, that is that is what makes us different and unique, but to go to that extent geez, I guess this post may prompt some to unfriend me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015!
So I have slacked on blogging, definitely one of my New Years resolutions. I have managed to stick to last years New Years resolution, and it will always be part of my life, or should I say, a way of life. I had a wonderful Christmas, with Williams extended family, then Christmas eve with his mom, sister and niece and nephews. Then we spent Christmas Morning, and the whole day just us 3 (William, myself and Daisy), it was really really nice. I am such a lucky person, waited all my life to find true love, and I have in William, bless his heart. So My honey, got me a treadmill, tried it out today, I am going to love using it. I just have to watch out for my little girl, and be sure she don't accidentally get in or on it, gosh that would be horrible. I think the noise frightens her off, which is good. Weigh-in #24 – Could have been better!
I wasn’t pleased with this week's weigh-in, but I didn’t gain either. It was a measly 0.9 lbs, I know almost an lb, but not quite there. As I mentioned at least I did not gain. But what had me so ecstatic this week was, I fit into a top that I fit into snuggly 5 years ago, so over the last 5 years, I guess you can say I gained 70 lbs wow right? Yeah, it is unbelievable, how we can put it on each day. The food these days OH My Gosh, how fatty it is, and don’t get me started on fast food, that is a real killer. I wish more fast food places would start popping open that serve well-balanced meals! That would be amazing, but for now, it is up to us. I am sure there are some out there, and I wish we had some locally, it would be a treat! So there are my measly 0.9 lbs, lol, but it is way better than gaining.
