Happy Birthday, Jesus

December 27, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

Happy birthday Jesus! Thank you for all that you have given me in my life. Merry Christmas everyone, I am so sorry I am late coming here to write a post, but here I am. We were going to spend our Christmas eve with my sister-in-law and her family, and then someone at my husband's work turned out getting COVID from his son and didn't notify the company until later. So now everyone is upset because it has changed their plan for Christmas. Now people can get angry, but in all honesty, this could be a blessing in disguise. The way I see it now is, our plans were altered for a reason. Only the good Lord knows why they were changed, anything could have happened, from an accident to gosh death, God forbid. We had a very nice quiet Christmas at home with our 2 cats. When I think about cats, I think about the 2 outside cats that I Continue Reading

So Much Going On, So Fast

March 20, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

Yes, that is how it happens. Just from my last post so much has happened that is just incredibly scary. Even though it is scary, this CoronaVirus, we HAVE TO exercise what President Trump is trying to do. It pisses me off to see these people in Florida and who see what is happening and yet still find that it is "OK" to go to the beach like nothing is happening. Really? WTF people, get your asses home! The other issue is pet owners surrendering their pets because they either can't feed them, hello they are part of your family, how can you do that to them. Or they think they can catch the CoronaVirus from their pet. Here is an article on it. It has been said already you cannot get or pass the CoronaVirus with your pets. There is no reason to surrender them. If you are not going to be a responsible pet owner, why did you get a pet Continue Reading

Hello September! Fall is Almost Here!

September 3, 2018 by Emily Leave a Comment

Nineteen days until the official first day of Fall! Wow, already so hard to believe. Just today I was looking out the kitchen window into the backyard and I saw a few leaves fall. I turned to William and told him, "I just saw a few leaves fall". He says "bite your tongue".  Yeah, I don't think he is ready for Fall and to be quite honest, I'm not either. We are really enjoying our summer. During our Labor Day weekend, my honey as I like to refer to William spent some time doing some repairs to the house, not urgent repairs but things we wanted to fix, like our faucet in the bathroom needed replacing. We had recently had the bathroom redone, and by the way, it looks gorgeous. Back to the sink, yeah we used our old faucet and thought it was time for a new one, so a new went up. I like it, it matches the rest of the hardware in the Continue Reading

Happy Birthday To Me!

December 4, 2013 by Emily 1 Comment

Yay, it's my birthday, again LOL. So most of the day today, well almost all of it, I spent alone, don't feel bad for me. I don't know many people where I live, really I don't know anyone. I have awesome online friends, wish they all lived near me because we'd be hanging out :) But I did get to spend it with Daisy, which by the way I had to shut to the computer room, as she is biting on my laptop cable. I'm not using the laptop, but she was biting on it and it is plugged in. Too scary, hate to see her get electrocuted, God forbid. Anyway, so we have been spending the day together, it's been nice and quiet. The only visitor I got today was by the monthly monster, of all days my birthday really? Ugh, hate it. Anyway, this is a quick post, to wish me a happy birthday, and to thank those awesome people that remembered me on this one Continue Reading

Saturday Smiles – Friendships

September 16, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

I knew what I wanted to write about, but I didn’t know what image to use, so I googled friendships in the images category, looking for something. I saw this photo and thought oh how perfect. It instantly made me smile. Didn’t it make you smile too? Or am I just the mushy kind of person? Perhaps I am. I’m an animal person, not all animals, but definitely cats and dogs, they are just too cute, adorable, and loving. I just love watching a cat and dog get along, it’s a really interesting interaction to watch. We know the dog can kill the kitten but doesn’t, and just plays with it ever so gently. I think it’s awesome. I don’t have pets, I may have mentioned it or not. I mean I do have a pet, but not a dog or cat. We only have a fish, his name is Dexter. Let me show you him. He is an awesome fish, he’s Double Tailed Betta. Continue Reading

Hello, I’m Emily

I am a child of God. A wife to William, a fur mommy to Daisy and Lily, and a fur mommy to my semi-feral to me girl Lilo (Tortie) and Mittens (Tuxedo) boy. My other ferals disappeared. I live in Massachusetts. I love to randomly photograph interesting things, and I enjoy blogging.
