Coincidence? Perhaps!

January 11, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

When I posted last, I had mentioned that I was disappointed because we have had little snow. Well the very next day it snowed, just for awhile but it was enough to get me all giddy, it didn't last long because the next day it started to melt, so I was bummed out again lol. Yesterday William tells me that we are going to be getting a blizzard, so again I'm all happy and all giddy. I know most people would be dreading a blizzard. And I also know that I'm not the one that has to walk through it, or drive in it, but I'm not taking back the fact it excites me. Earlier I did some laundry and what a fiasco, firstly I take my laundry, and realise almost all the washers are in use, which is rare at 8 in the morning. One washer was available, so I was happy for that. As I was loading up my wash, the washers next to me, start to over flow, and Continue Reading

Hardly Any Snow

January 8, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I'm rather disappointed, because we haven't got as much snow as I'd hoped. I remember initially thinking about coming to the east coast, I thought 'Wow, we will be hit with a lot of snow', but really hardly has come down. I'm hoping for another big drop. I know there are a lot of people that would prefer it don't snow as much, I'm a west coast girl, so yeah I like the snow fall. I love the snow, because as I've said quite often, it don't really snow in California. On rare occasion, like the apocalypse lol, it might snow. Actually I'm lying, it does snow in California, just out in the area they call high desert, yeah the 'desert' wow hey? But it's true, I have lived out there before and seen it with my own eyes. It's not like the snow fall here in Massachusetts, but it was still and experience and just as memorable. I think I may Continue Reading

More Than Flurries!?

I love winter, I think I have said that so many times. I do adore it. Being in the east coast, has allowed me to experience winter the way I had always imagined it. With the beauty of snow. Last year was my first year with just a full blown blizzard, and snow covered roads and walk ways. It was breath taking. I can't tell you how happy it made me. I felt like a kid. And I am not exaggerating about that. I started this about 2 hours ago, and there is a good amount of snow coming down. I absolutely love it! So it's already time for William to get out of work, but he is running by to see a business client, and it's snowing out. Not heavy but enough to concern me. So we are pretty much set with Christmas shopping, I am really happy for that. Yesterday we went out to pick up a few bits, and William tends to put on hats and clown around Continue Reading

* Poof * Gone

March 4, 2010 by Emily 2 Comments

This morning I woke up and there was a lovely blanket of snow, and now it's all gone, oh pooooh!!!!! I wish it would stay for a couple of days, it was so much fun when we had the blizzard, or at least what seemed like one. I have never been in one, so that was rather exciting. I am so lazy today to do laundry, lol. Ok I am partially blame it on the cold weather, hehe even though I just said I love the snow and I want more hahah, but also a bit of my laziness today. Anyway last night we watched Ghost Hunters: TAPS they had a live show. I was a bit disappointed, maybe I am a bit spoiled with that show when they did the live Halloween one, where they were actually investigating live hehe. Last nights show, the actual investigation was done like during the week which is fine and all. As I said I'm a bit spoiled and wanted to see it done live. Continue Reading

Just Tired

February 10, 2010 by Emily 4 Comments

The news last night said we would be getting heavy snow, so we were up early, so William left early, so if it did drop heavy, he can leave early, but so far it's 1:05 pm and no snow, just rain :\ I am kind of bummed out a bit lol because I did want to see snow, I would have used a cute icon but OMG there is no snow icon with these smiles except for this little cute guy (that doesn't show up anymore lol) I am so disappointed. Anyway, we'll see what the rest of the day brings us. So I started using the PingFM service (no longer works as of 2021), so it can read all the places I post, and at one point I was double posting haha, so I had to take care of that, but the service is so awesome! I also have it on my desktop and just today I installed it on my Blackberry, woohoo go me lol. Oh I spoke too soon, as of 1:21 pm it has started Continue Reading
