Happy July! Summer is Here, Yay!

July 1, 2014 by Emily 1 Comment

summer is here

It's finally here, summer! We have been waiting for a what seems like a long time, to finally get that awesome summer weather. I am so so happy. No more being cold, although it will get humid, and I'll have just one more thing to complain about lol :P Our 5th anniversary is coming up in a few days, gosh I can't believe it's been 5 years already, and we aren't even married, but we are engaged, I told that story already :) But it is exciting to see how long we've been together, and how strong our relationship still it, at least it appears like that to me. And I think to him as well. I hope he is happy, I'm sure things aren't 100% perfect, but I think I make him happy, and that is what really counts in the end. Wish some people would realise that at the end of the day, that is all that should matter, right? RIGHT!!! My dieting is Continue Reading

Shopping, Diet, Summer, Drive-In

June 21, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

Let's begin with shopping, we had a long day today shopping, it was needed to be done, and I didn't want William doing it alone, so I told him I'd go with him. Normally, he'll pick up things on his way from work, but it's Saturday, we did want to go to the movies, but now I think we are both pooped out and just want to relax and stay home. Enough with the hustle and bustle. Now to find something exciting and entertaining to watch tonight. Perhaps RoboCop, it's out on DVD ;) So I am still on my diet from keto pure diet - is the keto diet safe?, yes losing weight slowly, seems like I yo-yo sometimes though, kind of frustrating, but surprisingly sticking with it, in the past I probably would of gave up, but not now. I am determined! I gained a lb this passed week, not happy about that, so will have to work harder! Happy 1st day of Continue Reading

Weigh-in #4 – Where is my head?

May 21, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I am not sure how I get behind on posting. I could have sworn I was on time, but my last post says I posted on the 9th, and in that post I was late, so that means I didn’t post 10th & 11th, and 17th & 18th that just does not make sense (I’ll get it sorted). I noticed google had an update, but I don’t think that would affect my posts. Wow, I am off today, I was on the wrong browser LOL. Hmm okay so catch uptime. I weighed in on May 10, 2014, and I lost 0.08 lbs, not a whole lot, but still, it is a loss, although I wish it was more. I felt as if I had lost track of what I am doing. Well not exactly what I am doing, but I mean in reference to keeping track of what I weigh. I record each weigh-in, so I have that to fall back on if my memory screws up hehe. Which is what I just did to be able to sort out what I lost and gained. Continue Reading

I Hate Being Hungry!

January 21, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I think the worst part of a diet, is not the exercise, well I guess that is too lol but it’s adjusting to not eating, what you normally were eating, or should I say the portion size. The first few weeks, you go hungry. I hate that! I can’t even be near the kitchen, because I get hungry haha. I try to drink water when I get hungry, it helps fill me up. I’m trying to stay under 1,660 (corrected) calories a day, some may think that is a lot, but I think for myself it’s ideal at this time, perhaps later it will change. But as mentioned, it’s just those moments when I feel the hunger pangs. I can’t wait until I get passed that phase. As for exercise, it’s difficult for me, as my knees are bad. I injured one over 5 years ago, and have not been able to have a doctor look at it. It’s bad enough I just got a bill, that was not fully covered, Continue Reading

Rain, Rain, Go Away …

Rain-rain-go-away

If it isn't snow, it's rain. Ahh how I look forward to Spring, even though in reality our Spring doesn't last long, it seems to get right into Summer weather. I loved California spring season, it was truly spring. Anyway, as William said, better rain than snow. He's been living in the Boston area all his life, so he is hating on snow, and welcoming rain, weather is a lot warmer. Although in defense of snow, there have been times it seems rather warm, but then the snow melts. I enjoy a good blizzard, I know some folks hate it, especially if pipes start freezing and bursting, as it has done in some areas this past snowfall. So I'm on a cleaning war path, not because I like cleaning, I actually hate it, if I can afford to hire a maid I would have one come once a month hehe. I'm getting old, I have an excuse. And that excuse further Continue Reading

Hello, I’m Emily

I am a child of God. A wife to William, a fur mommy to Daisy and Lily, and a fur mommy to my semi-feral to me girl Lilo (Tortie) and Mittens (Tuxedo) boy. My other ferals disappeared. I live in Massachusetts. I love to randomly photograph interesting things, and I enjoy blogging.
