Happy Fall, everyone! I can't believe it has been 6 months since I last posted. At least I am posting in 2025 still lol. I have been busy. Lately, it feels as if my cats keep me very busy. I am talking about my inside cats, Daisy and Lily. That is not including my outside furbabies. I had about 8 feral cats I was feeding, and loving it. But one by one, they seemed to disappear. I miss them all so much. I may have mentioned this before, as a matter of fact, I did in the last post. I went to look LOL. Lilo, my tortie girl, is still here. I think she adopted us because she has a permanent bed on the deck. In the summer, she would sleep on the deck furniture, and in the winter, she sleeps in a heated house. It’s Fall Ya’ll, Finally!
I was beginning to wonder when Fall would actually hit us here in Massachusetts, at least where we are. And yes it is here, it is cold and my hands are drying up faster now. I have to continuously moisturize them or they can get bad, same with my legs and arms. This is our first Fall in our new home, it is so super exciting. We get lots and lots of leaves fall in the backyard, my honey mows them up and throws them into the little forest behind us. We did see what it was like during the Winter as we got the end of Winter time here. It was very deceiving, the yard is much bigger than it looks. It is one of those illusion type things lol. Rain, Rain, Go Away …
If it isn't snow, it's rain. Ahh how I look forward to Spring, even though in reality our Spring doesn't last long, it seems to get right into Summer weather. I loved California spring season, it was truly spring. Anyway, as William said, better rain than snow. He's been living in the Boston area all his life, so he is hating on snow, and welcoming rain, weather is a lot warmer. Although in defense of snow, there have been times it seems rather warm, but then the snow melts. I enjoy a good blizzard, I know some folks hate it, especially if pipes start freezing and bursting, as it has done in some areas this past snowfall. So I'm on a cleaning war path, not because I like cleaning, I actually hate it, if I can afford to hire a maid I would have one come once a month hehe. I'm getting old, I have an excuse. I Think It’s Really Here!
After what seems like a very long long winter, I think Spring is really really here. Even though it still a little chilly at night, and we did get some rain last night, with some loud thunder and lightening, odd I know, but I chalk that up to being Spring Showers. I left my window open last night, and it's till open now, and it is just absolutely gorgeous. My hunny William messaged me and told me, it's such a nice day today. Which I completely agree 100%. He has been waiting and waiting for the weather to change. He absolutely hates winter, I personally love winter, but you can have so much winter and you are ready for some warm weather. Happy Spring? Maybe? Yes?
Happy spring everyone! At least it's supposed to be spring, it's still a bit winter here. Yesterday was the first day of spring, and as I look out my window I see some snow on the ground still, and yet earlier today I was looking online and I seen that were supposed to be getting another storm coming through, so I might be getting more snow, if not snow, then rain. So when does my spring actually begin? I really don't know. I think our spring over here in the East Coast is probably going to be very short, I'd rather have a longer Spring and a short Summer. If you read my blog posts at all you know I really don't like the humidity here, sometimes you can literally cut it with a nice it's not that sick.
