I was watching the Today show this morning, and they had a segment on a father (Tommy Jordan) who replied to his daughter (Hannah's) post on Facebook in a very shocking way 'Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen!' Wow go Daddy! Apparently the daughter posted some very harsh things on Facebook about the way parents treat her. Thinking that that they wouldn't see it by blocking them. Oh boy was she wrong! The father is computer saavy, works in IT, so naturally he was going to find it, especially because a few months earlier she had done the exact same thing. It's an 8 minute video the father made in reply to his daughters post on facebook, here is the video, see for yourself. The response from teens is astronomical, agreeing with what the father had done, not to mention how many parents agree with what he did. Yeah it's SHOCKING Continue Reading

30 Days Of Truth – Day 14: A Hero That Has Let You Down
Wow this is an interesting question, I don't really feel I have any kind of 'Hero' that I ever looked up to. So I really can't say any hero let me down. Yeah I have had people let me down tremendously in my life, but none that I would put on a pedestal as to be called a 'Hero'. There are people that I have looked up to, but never to that extent. If I had to really pick a hero, it would of been my mother (God rest her soul), my mother was a wonderful person, very loving and affectionate, she was the heart of the family. After she passed away, the family fell apart, things were never the same. It saddens me to think of that, but it's true. She was everything to everyone, we idolised her so much. Gosh I really miss her *sad moment* yeah, that would be my answer there. So really in the end, I didn't really have a Hero that has let Continue Reading
You Don’t Need A Man Or Woman!!
Happy Valentine's Day! That's right it's a Valentine's Day post. But more importantly are those 6-7 words in my title! You really don't need to have a man or a woman in your life, to have a great Valentine's day. There are so many ways to spread love, with friends, other family members, and yes even strangers!! A random act of kindness goes a long way. You can do some blog hopping, and stumble upon someones blog and leave them a super cool comment, that will make their day. You may not know if you did, but what if you did? Wouldn't that be amazing? A good feeling I would think. If someones blog is one of those 'I hate Valentine's Day', 'It just another day', 'We don't celebrate it', 'I am single today', etc. Well maybe a nice comment can make that person feel a lot better. I hope to spread the love today :) Moving along now. Did you Continue Reading
Doomsday Preppers – Should You Be Worried Too?
The other day, we didn't have much to watch on TV, so we decided to browse ONdemand (absolutely love this, we're able to catch up with shows we may have missed) and see what shows are out there that we never seen. So one night we were looking through the networks, and stumbled on a TV show called Doomsday Preppers on the National Geographic channel. Who are they? What are they all about. Well long before we stumbled on this TV show, we had stumbled on a few others withe similar topics. I have to say, I didn't really pay much attention, although it did spark an interest in both our minds. We got really curious. As time passed, and we kept seeing more and more. So naturally we would watch this stuff. I don't know for sure if anything will happen, there are people that have their predictions, and so forth. Does it worry me, sure it does. Continue Reading
Stranger Danger Saves A Life
I'm rather disappointed, we had sweet little flurries coming down all day, well until about 1 or 2pm, I was hoping it would come down more than that. I know there are other towns in New England that got a lot more than cute 'little' flurries, I looked forward to the snow. Growing up in California, I didn't see much snow, unless I went up to Big Bear Mountain sky resort, and that was like never lol. I moved up to the high desert for awhile, and we got snow there, so that was pretty exciting. When I finally moved to Massachusetts, I got the opportunity to experience true snow days! I absolutely loved it! I looked forward to this winter ever since I moved here. We have yet to see another good drop of snow *wishes*. I guess we will see what the rest of this winter has in store for us. I was watching the news earlier this week, and I Continue Reading
