Oh my, it's that time again. Wow how time flies, it was just Summer. Surprisingly I wasn't looking forward to Winter yet!! I love the snow but wanted a bit more warm weather. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you are spending it with loved ones, enjoy the festivities! I'm thankful for having a loving family, even though we aren't the closest right now, they are always in my thoughts and my heart. I hope to visit them in the coming year if God permits. As a matter of fact, I spoke with my oldest brother Eric and my dad yesterday, we said our Happy Thanksgiving messages, and my dad asked me if I had forgotten him, I said no never, even if we don't talk, you are always in my mind and heart and I love you. He recently had cancer, but is better now, still weak but doing good, my older brother is there to take care Continue Reading

She’s Home! Daisy Is Home
So what is the title all about? Well, we finally decided to get a kitty, I am more than excited. We brought her home today. She is a darling little Siamese female kitty. I had about a list of 20 possible names and then narrowed it down to 4, and then out of those 4, I decided on Daisy, it’s cute, and adorable, just like her. I took a few snapshots, unfortunately, the flash made her close her eyes, but she is such a sweetie. I’ll add a photo that the previous owner sent me. She is sleeping on my chest right now, too cute!! Think William will get jealous? Hehe, no I don’t think so. I’m so happy to have her, but I know she is going to be like taking care of a human baby, okay well not so much, but she will need to be watched. Hmm, I’m wondering if I am going to have to pass on going to William’s family’s house for Thanksgiving dinner Continue Reading
Addition To The Family!!
Yes, I'm so excited, finally after 3 years. I asked and prayed and it finally happened we are getting a kitten, a siamese kitten, woohoo. I know you thought I was pregnant, but no not happening, next best thing though hehe. I've wanted a kitten ever since I was living in the UK, but I am happy I waited until I was back in the USA. I'm in a great relationship, 4 years into it, we are engaged to be married, and now we got our first pet, it's technically first pet, but when I got together with William, he had a dog already, he passed in the first year together, but now 4th year into being together, we finally decided it was time!! I am more than excited. I had been looking on petfinder, and that is where I found her, wait or was it eBay classified, I think it's linked to each other in some way, but thing is I found her, she does not have a Continue Reading
Simon’s Cat in ‘Scary Legs’
I was browsing this forum I go to often, and I saw this image that one of my friends on there posted as a status, it was so funny but creepy at the same time because I imagine that happening to me. Hopefully never but you will see, I had a good laugh when I saw it and was compelled to save it and share it. Click the banner below and check out their website. I can’t really share it on Facebook as you can’t really share animated images, nor can you on Twitter, not to my knowledge, but you can on Tumblr so I may go ahead and share there too. Isn’t this the funniest ever? I think the cat was trying to distract him from seeing it crawl around. I just found it so funny! Turns out there is a website dedicated to this cat, which I gave at the top of this post. I think it’s so so silly. I think I’m going to be a regular at this site. Continue Reading
Remember Those That Served – Thank you!
Thank you so very much! To each and every person , man or woman, who has served, is serving and will serve to protect us. Thank you so much for putting your life before ours, for keeping us safe, keeping the children of the future safe. I don't think it is ever possible to tell you enough thank you's. So many people do not realise what you all have done to keep us safe. Many will learn and respect you in time. I'd like to thank my two brothers, Eric and Omar, who served in the Air Force and Navy, respectively, thank you for serving. I love and miss you guys. I think the younger generations are beginning to understand more and more what these men and women have done for us all. If you are out and about and see a veteran, thank them, don't wait for Veterans day to thank them. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be Continue Reading
