We not only have the holidays rolling in but birthdays as well. My moms birthday was last week. I didn't feel much like posting about it, I have done it every year whether it be for the day or a day or week after. So here I am again. Missing my mom like crazy. I have missed out on having a mom for a lot of special occasions. But you know what I realized just a few minutes ago. My mom is seriously in a better place. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks or believes. She is in heaven with our father God. And because she is there, she is not here where the world is truly going to shit. I hate even talking about this in the same breath as talking about my mom. But the world is really crazy, and I don't see it let up anytime soon. Hollar & Dollar1 Hauls – Are they worth it?
I like to save money where ever I can, using coupons, buying online, and I do both happily. I have been buying from Dollar1.com and hollar.com for a few months now. I am really happy with my purchases. I have received broken items from Hollar before, and they gladly replace it with no hassle. In my recent purchase from Dollar1.com, I bought some EOS lip balms for $1 each. Now that is a fantastic deal, however, upon opening the sweet mint I detected a stale smell which I was not happy with. I have emailed dollar1.com and hope to have my money returned or the item replaced, I doubt the item will be replaced because they are no longer on the website. As I am sure they get the items before the due date and try to quickly sell them out, which they do. It’s Friday! Happy Weekend!
This week went pretty quick. I don't feel I accomplished as much as I wanted to, and honestly planning helps zero lol. Because a lot of things keep coming up that take me away from what I have planned *sigh*. Oh well, it is still fun to plan :P We are a 1 car family, so getting to the shops has to wait for the weekend, unfortunately. I wish I had another car, so I can do some shopping during the week, and we would have more time at home to do things or go out for entertainment purposes. But it is, what it is and we manage. I am so neglectful, but Summer is going great!
I have not updated this often. I have been so super busy. I feel like I have a lot of things going on at the same time. And before you know it, poof, the time has elapsed and I ran out of my daily time. Does that happen to you? How do you handle that? I guess the answer is to manage time better. No planning helps me because things pop up that put me behind, so I don't spend planning things out. It is so hard because when something unexpected comes up, then any planning I did has been all screwed up. Hobby Room at a Crawl
We have been in our new house for 2 months now, and I still don't have my room set up. This is because now I realize lol, that I have too many things, and I tend to hold on to things I no longer need, and are not functional, apart from looking pretty lol. I am a girly girl, and well I cannot help that. I am sure many ladies can relate, right??? Lol Besides going through things, I would like to give away to friends, but I don't because I am on a budget and cannot ship things to everyone for free, I decided the majority will be donated to Salvation Army, it feels good to be able to donate, rather than throw in the garbage.
