OH EM GEE, the heat is really on now. It's cooking out there lol. Thank goodness we went out early today, to do some shopping. I had a few things I was looking for, and I did manage to find them, although some I didn't or I forgot one or two other things. I try to keep a list of what I am looking for, makes it so much easier than running around the store, and back tracking to find stuff. That is what causes exhaustion, at least it does for my lazy bum hehe. That's it there, among a few other things I picked up. Heck yes I will be the first to say I love love love freebies, giveaways, free samples, I love it all. With the way the economy is these days how is it wrong to want to try new things, in the form of samples by mail, or online freebies, seriously? You are lying if you say no!! The Weather, It’s A Love Hate Thing
I was loving the weather over the weekend. I'm glad it was gorgeous for Mother's day, but now how I am hating it, it's cold, and over cast, no sun in sight. I'll have to wait for the weekend, as the weather is suppose to soar high like in the 80's on Friday or Saturday, so get your picnic, bathing suits and all that summer gear ready, and take advantage of it, just in case the clouds decide to come in and ruin the week hehe. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Drive-in with my sweetheart this weekend, since the weather reports seem to be good, hopefully it is going to be nice. I love drive-in's they are so much fun. Happy Mother’s Day To All The Lovelies!
Well let me begin by saying, I'm not a mother myself, although sometimes I wish it would of happened to me, but it just wasn't in the stars I suppose. I am an aunt and have seen my niece and nephews grow up to be wonderful adults. Now I am watching their kids grow up, so that would make me a grand aunt, wow that sounds old hehe. Right well being an auntie is as close as I got to be a mother. I recall one time, my mom and myself went to the mall with the kids, they were so cute and little, you know the terrible twos age around there anyway, and we were browsing in a store, and a lady at the counter said the kids were beautiful because they were/are *grin*, and she said you have beautiful kids, you know I loved the fact she thought they were mine, that I didn't say anything. Trying To Save Money Anyway I Can
OK so I think I had mentioned that I wanted to try to do my own nails. Well while I waited for some more supplies that I needed, I went ahead and purchased the All Season Quick Dip Powder System, it cost $15.99 at Sally Beauty, a wonderful website, and even better store go stop in and do a shop. So as I said I tried this out today. I have some pro's and con's with this. But honestly next time I would rather go to a nail bar dublin and give them a splash of color to brighten up your day, you can have pampered your hands and fingernails to perfection without spending a fortune, than trying to do my nails again!
