How Can I Use My Time More Wisely?

March 4, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

OK it's all my fault!! I procrastinate way too much! I leave things until the last minute, I've done it dozens of times. I'm sure there are a lot of people that do that as well. But I do it to myself. I get some overwhelmed with things to do, that I forget about the deadline to some and then I feel like I'm running around like a chicken without a head! I really need to prioritise and use my time wisely or this will continue to happen. Make lists perhaps? That could be a solution. If I set a list of things to do for certain days, I can achieve more. For instance, today I need to move 2 of my websites to new servers. I have done a lot of the backing up of databases, so I have that part covered. It's the content that I'm trying to move, and my old host is being a pain in the a$$ and it's really annoying me. So while I go in between Continue Reading

Happy Leap Year Day!

February 29, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

Now how often do we get to say that? Every 4 years! Four years ago, I didn't blog on Leap Day, I'm going to make a point that I do, so this is my very first Leap Year day I post on, yay! I'm a member of GetGlue, it's a fun social network website, that I find myself drawn to not only online but on my phone or iPod, I admit it, it does get a little addicting but I can't help it. I enjoy the website so much that I made a fan listing for it, if you are a fan please join, follow this link *clickity*. Anyway, today GetGlue gave all its members (permitting they check into said topic) a Leap Year Day sticker, although it's only an image online, they actually send you it in real life, I think that's why it's attracting so many people, especially collectors of stickers. I wouldn't of said I was a collector of stickers, but now I am, at least of Continue Reading

How You Can Be So Easily Confused!

February 25, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

How can Google Plus be so confusing? I never really joined it, I mean I guess you kind of do if you have a Gmail account lol. I seemed to have joined it with two different emails. It's difficult when they make you use a certain email, for instance, I wanted to use a gmail to join Google Plus, but it wouldn't let me for some reason, I had to us an Aol.com email address. I just gave up, went ahead and signed up, so now I have two. I'll use one more for my blog stuff. The other can just sit there lol. I wanted to sign into my Youtube account as well, and I couldn't log in with just the username, it forced me to log in with an email account. Okay so I tried using the email that I had for that Youtube account, and again it wouldn't let me, so I had to use the Aol.com email address again. OH BOY!! I was getting frustrated. So now when I want to Continue Reading

Winning Free Stuff Rocks!

February 25, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

Who doesn't like free stuff?

I think everyone loves free stuff, when it's handed to you no questions asked is even better, but not everyone is that lucky hey? But when it comes to sweepstakes, raffles, even the lottery, you can't help but try, because if you don't try, you will never know if you will win! Same goes for online giveaways, you aren't required to purchase anything but simply do a few things online related, like follow on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and various other social media websites. I personally will do them when I can, and if I remember to go back and continue doing them. For instance since last year I would follow along with Zagg.com and do their Christmas iPad giveaway, they would give an iPad away everyday for the entire month of December. Currently they are also giving away a Kindle Fire a day as well, and yeah, you bet your lucky stars I'm Continue Reading

Bullies? What Are They Thinking?

February 24, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

I was watching the Today show early this morning, and there was a segment from last month I believe. It discussed the videos that kids were putting on YouTube, in regards to asking if they were pretty or ugly? Youtube does not allow anyone under 13 to join but there were a lot of younger kids on there. No surprise there hey? Well these kids, they put themselves out there not knowing that bullies will come out of the wood work like no tomorrow, only to criticize them. So of course they will be put down, made fun of, etc. I often wonder what are these bullies thinking of? What is in their mind to really put someone through the BS that they put them through. Hasn't there been enough negative media about the results of what bullying can cause, and isn't that enough to just stop!!?? No it doesn't seem like it is, I really don't know what Continue Reading
