La La Land

October 12, 2008 by Emily 3 Comments

I feel as if I have been in La La Land, I mean I posted on the 1st and today is the 12th OMG it's like time just flew by and I missed it all lol. I had been so busy watching a TV show called The Wire, my friend Millie told me about it and she got me all into it, haha. It's a good show. I'm glad I got a chance to watch it. I'm finishing the last season this week. Apart from that I have just been watching a few films, doing some browsing, catching up with my directory and such. Speaking of, I need to go and see how that is doing. I spoke with my sister a few nights ago, I'm really glad I got a chance to talk to her, as I'll be staying with her and her family. I also found out that my niece and her baby moved in there, so that is going to be a tremendous treat for me when I go there. To see them again, and see baby Jayden omg I'm so Continue Reading

Happy October!

October 1, 2008 by Emily 1 Comment

I have to apologize as I have come online a few times at the library but have not updated and thought why not, i'll go ahead and do it now since it's the 1st of October yay! I'm staying in London at the moment, I think I'm going to stay here until I leave back to California. I was staying here helping a friend out, but I was offered to stay up until my departure so thats great! I'm really excited about seeing the family again, it's been 3 years I miss them so much. I'll need to go collect my things this weekend so that I have what I need since this turned out to be a longer stay :) Which is nice and I don't mind at all. Change of scenery is always good. But while being here I haven't had any internet so I'm thankful for the local Library, it should be live probably at the end of the week or weekend *fingers crossed* I finally got my Continue Reading

Mixed Emotions

July 23, 2008 by Emily 2 Comments

I have so much going through my mind right now. I don't think I can possibly talk about it. I don't usually, well I use to but then I found it to be pointless lol. Alice is coming down on Sunday, and well she's given me instructions to pack her closet lol. Yeah wow yay I get to pack "her" closet, makes me angry sometimes, because it's her stuff and she should pack it, but since I am staying here I suppose I should. I'm not really looking forward to do, because we plan on taking the last bits of things to storage, as she wants to finally put this flat on the market for rental. I hope that works out for her. Meanwhile, I'll have to go to London with her, and stay in the house she' staying in (not looking forward to that). I don't like her landlord very much, I did at first but now I don't. But on another note, it will be a nice change from Continue Reading

BAFAB; Buy a Friend a Book!

June 25, 2008 by Emily Leave a Comment

I was just chatting to Chris on MSN, when my twitter thing popped up with someone posting a link to something, and I asked myself I don't remember following anyone with BAFAB, so nosey me goes to see what it is (i finally did recall following them). Well every year apparently they hold a Buy a friend a book every quarter, so it would be held on January, April, July and October, so yeah it's like 5 days until the week of BAFAB, the whole concept really is to promote reading, and friendship. So during this week, you would (if you participate), buy a friend a book, not for any special occasion, it should be a "just because" reason,  imagine the shock they will have!! I think its a fantastic idea and I do plan on participating. If you would like to enter a contest to win any book you want, then I would say go and visit Karen and read up about Continue Reading

What’s ordinary about it?

May 22, 2008 by Emily 2 Comments

I was going to say this is just another ordinary day, but really what is ordinary? Or does it depend on the person? I don't know, but this day may be ordinary to me, compared to how it should be. Anyway forget about all that. I'm currently trying to play catch up, seems like I am always doing that lol. I'm checking for new submission for screenshot exchange, and also approving links at list-me.com because I do need to stay on top of that at least its the most active site of all my sites. I was going to log in or maybe I did and don't remember logging into facebook, but I usually will log in and leave the page open while I do other stuff lmao. I try to multi-task a lot lol. So I am going back and forth to each page doing a little haha. It's fun and makes the time pass :P and not to mention being a bit bored. Oh yeah I changed the theme Continue Reading
