I is for Inception #AtoZChallenge

April 10, 2012 by Emily 10 Comments

This was another great film. I get entertained easily, by many things, but when it comes to films, I get real picky. Ever since meeting my wonderful William, my eyes opened up to a lot more than chick flicks lol. So I have him to thank for. I'm a SyFy girl now! Ok well today's AtoZ letter is the I for the film Inception. This film can really get you to think, the concept is amazing. Anyway so what is all this nonsense about Inception? Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything Continue Reading

Sun Shining, Birds Chirping, Has Spring Arrived?

March 18, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

Wow I am just in love with today, and days like it. The sun is shining, every window in the house is open, letting that cool breeze on through the entire place. Finally got around to filling the bird feeder, I love to hear the birds eating away. I hear them when I'm at my laptop looking for beautiful affordable luxury nightdresses for sale. The window in front of me is right above the bird feeder, so I hear them peck away and eat. I just love it. A few times I have attempted to film them, but the slightest noise I make that makes them feel uncomfortable or scared, and off they are. Plus I have a desk and a side table in the way lol. I can always try the window directly in front of them, which is part of the kitchen, but then again any slight noise they aren't familiar with and they are gone, as quickly as they came. Oh but it's just so Continue Reading

Grab A Green Beer, Make Merry & Be Safe!

March 17, 2012 by Emily 4 Comments

Have a green beer for me today!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone, be safe out there. Oh it's another reason to have a party!! I am way past that phase where I had to go to a party for every holiday. I make my own party at home with my William!! He's part Irish so I got all the Irish I can handle at home. Woohoo, go me!! We're going to put on our green hats, pour some green beer, and maybe have Leprechaun movie marathon today haha. Sounds lame? Not really, besides we still have The Walking Dead to look forward to tomorrow, so it's all good! Early this morning we were watching the news where they were coloring the river green in Chicago, I would like to maybe one time see that for myself, it's pretty spectacular as its a very large river. Wow that is just all gorgeous and all. Not many people around, but I guess the excitement is actually seeing it being dyed, I Continue Reading

As If The Economy Isn’t Bad Enough!

March 1, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I know that the economy is really bad right now, but why do people feel they need to charge more for things? Don't they realise they get less customers when they do that? I don't understand the logic. I know that they (people/businesses) are trying to make up for losses, by over charging for things. I am talking about anything online and offline related. Everything seems to be going up .. and up ... and up!! Things need to come down, so we can afford it, and if we can afford it, we will buy more of it, makes sense? Yeah it does! I guess I'm just feeling like 'What the heck is going on now?'. I have a Tumblr account, as so many do, I've had the same theme on it for a while now, and I'm getting rather bored with it. I came across a lovely Tumblr theme, but unfortunately they won't let you download it! So if you have more than one Continue Reading

Happy Leap Year Day!

February 29, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

Now how often do we get to say that? Every 4 years! Four years ago, I didn't blog on Leap Day, I'm going to make a point that I do, so this is my very first Leap Year day I post on, yay! I'm a member of GetGlue, it's a fun social network website, that I find myself drawn to not only online but on my phone or iPod, I admit it, it does get a little addicting but I can't help it. I enjoy the website so much that I made a fan listing for it, if you are a fan please join, follow this link *clickity*. Anyway, today GetGlue gave all its members (permitting they check into said topic) a Leap Year Day sticker, although it's only an image online, they actually send you it in real life, I think that's why it's attracting so many people, especially collectors of stickers. I wouldn't of said I was a collector of stickers, but now I am, at least of Continue Reading
