Server moves are such a pain in the ass, especially if they don't go according to plan. There are times things just happen, and it happened to me. I was so upset because at one point I thought I lost all my blog posts for the past 5 years. I blog a lot more these days, than I did when I first started. While I was in England I didn't blog, I actually closed my blog for awhile, because my ex didn't like me wasting my time online? Isn't that something? So for about a year or two it stayed closed. I kept it because I liked the name, and knew one day I would reopen it. After leaving England coming back to the US, I did reopen, and started once again to get where I was before. Gun Toting Dad Responds To Daughter Via Facebook!
I was watching the Today show this morning, and they had a segment on a father (Tommy Jordan) who replied to his daughter (Hannah's) post on Facebook in a very shocking way 'Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen!' Wow go Daddy! Apparently the daughter posted some very harsh things on Facebook about the way parents treat her. Thinking that that they wouldn't see it by blocking them. Oh boy was she wrong! The father is computer saavy, works in IT, so naturally he was going to find it, especially because a few months earlier she had done the exact same thing. It's an 8 minute video the father made in reply to his daughters post on facebook, here is the video, see for yourself. You Don’t Need A Man Or Woman!!
Happy Valentine's Day! That's right it's a Valentine's Day post. But more importantly are those 6-7 words in my title! You really don't need to have a man or a woman in your life, to have a great Valentine's day. There are so many ways to spread love, with friends, other family members, and yes even strangers!! A random act of kindness goes a long way. You can do some blog hopping, and stumble upon someones blog and leave them a super cool comment, that will make their day. You may not know if you did, but what if you did? Wouldn't that be amazing? A good feeling I would think. If someones blog is one of those 'I hate Valentine's Day', 'It just another day', 'We don't celebrate it', 'I am single today', etc. Well maybe a nice comment can make that person feel a lot better. Stranger Danger Saves A Life
I'm rather disappointed, we had sweet little flurries coming down all day, well until about 1 or 2pm, I was hoping it would come down more than that. I know there are other towns in New England that got a lot more than cute 'little' flurries, I looked forward to the snow. Growing up in California, I didn't see much snow, unless I went up to Big Bear Mountain sky resort, and that was like never lol. I moved up to the high desert for awhile, and we got snow there, so that was pretty exciting. When I finally moved to Massachusetts, I got the opportunity to experience true snow days! I absolutely loved it! I looked forward to this winter ever since I moved here. We have yet to see another good drop of snow *wishes*. Love Is In The Air, Or Is It?!
It's February, that means you will see everything and anything that has to do with Valentine's, I know some over do it, but some look so forward to this day, only to be disappointed if it doesn't come out as they'd hoped. And that is exactly why you shouldn't expect to much. I feel it's better that you don't so that you aren't disappointed in the end. The last thing one wants is a constant reminder of how bad Valentine's went for them. So I am not going to expect much, but hugs and kisses from my one and only William! As long as he is in my life, I am happy :) What really gets to me is when I start seeing blogs or twitter posts of people that absolutely hate Valentine's.
